Cam's POV:

"Nash! I'm leaving!" I called as I was heading out the door to pick up Billie for our date.

"O-okay, erm, hav-have fun-un" I heard Nash stutter, was he crying? I had to talk to him. I walked through to his room, barging in with out knocking (we did this all the time...). As soon as he saw me he quickly wiped his eyes and forced a smile.

"Nash, what's wrong? Tell me, you know you can tell me anything" I said whilst wrapping my arms round him.

"N-nothing" he cried into the crook of my neck.

'Nash, please, just tell me" I pleaded with him.

"No! Cam! Just drop it!" When Nash snapped at me, my heart broke in two. I could always cheer Nash up, I was always the one he went to when he was feeling down. Lately though he's been acting so distant. I just want to know what's upsetting him. I want to be the one who sits up all night, listening to him tell me his hopes, dreams and fears. I want to be the one who knows all his little secrets, the one who he never lies to. I just want to be his. But that will never happen.

"Fine." I shortly replied, unable to look him in the eye as I stomped out the door, slamming it behind me.

The lights of the carnival reflected in the water as I sat with Billie eating some candy floss. She looked stunning, her long wavy hair blowing in the wind. We had a great night, the carnival was amazing. I loved Billies personality, she makes me laugh so much and she was really easy to talk to. It would of been the perfect date, if I could stop thinking about Nash.

"I've had a really great time tonight, thank you Cam" Billie smilies at me.

"No, thank you for coming, this has been a really fun night because of you, so thank you Billie"

"It's been my pleasure" smiled Billie, looking me in the eye.

With that, I lent in and kissed her...

I got in around half one in the morning after dropping Billie back at her house. The kiss was nice, but there were no 'sparks'.

When I got in, I was surprised to see Nash sat in the kitchen area. His eyes were red and puffy and his cheeks were stained with tears. He looked me directly in the eye before turning and heading back into his room without saying a word. A few more pieces of my heart shattered. I just wish he would tell me what's going on. I need to know, I care about him to much. But there's nothing I can do.
