[A/N: This is a work of fiction. Pardon my grammar guys! I was so young when I wrote this (one of my) short story. I edited some but not all of it. Hahaha! I know my syntactical sentences suck and unbearable 'coz ENGLISH is not my (our) language. If you get what I mean. So, just bear with it guyss... OK??

Happy Reading!

"Hey Alex, can I court you?" William asked after our recess time.

"Huh?" I asked, absentmindedly.

"Nevermind!"

Actually, I heard what he'd just asked but I pretended that I didn't hear it. William? He's a cool guy and what-a-girl-wants.

Oh, NVM.

I decide to go to my next subject when I saw my bestfriend, Claire.

"Did I hear it correctly?" Claire asked and smiled.

"Hear the what?" I frowned.

"That William will court you!" she exclaimed.

"Nevermind the rumors," I just said.

She just shrugged and walked beside me.

"Well, girl, if someone will court you, tell me and I'll ask something to him, if he really passes my--your-- taste," she said.

"I don't think if I'll be having a boyfriend this year-- or so."

"It's because your not having it!" Claire exclaimed.

Of course! I'm a No-Boyfriend-Since-Birth kind of girl. I'm no expert in love.

When we're on our next subject, I remembered that William is my classmate in this subject.

There are two rows. Claire and I are sitting in the first row, 4th line. And William is sitting in the 3rd line, first row also.

It is, I think, 3/4 of the teacher's discussion when William put a chair beside me.

"Do you have any... ummm... you know... boyfriend?" William asked.

"No boyfriend since birth."

"Claire, is she telling the truth?" William asked Claire.

"Of course! And if someone will court her, I'm the... you know... what they call the 'bridge'. But of course that boy must've passed to my-- and Alex's-- taste," Claire said.

"Can I?" he asked.

"Can I what?" Claire and I asked coincidentally.
