<Diary of Corelle>

Day 1: Meeting Him For The First Time~

"Corelle!" A familiar voice rang in my ears. I groaned and flipped over on my bed, hugging my favourite bear that is lying next to me.

"Ugh. What do you want?" I hissed and I heard a laughter. My sister, Caroline, is snuggling around me. She is a five years old girl and I love her a lot. Though she is annoying at times, she is still my sister after all. Talking about her, many people adores her. When my friends came to my house, she'll always be a good girl and serve drinks for them and stay quietly in her room until my friends left. She's only close to my close friend, Gerlynn.

Gerlynn is a nice, friendly girl. She has blonde straight hair and puts on slight make up. Caroline treats her as her own sister too. Oh, let's get back to the main point.

It was a bright sunny Saturday morning. I went for a shopping spree with Gerlynn. We wanted to get some new dresses for homecoming ceremony. More information about this homecoming ceremony is that on the night itself, they will be voting for the best looking queen and king so Gerlynn and I decided to dress up. We got to this shop, Forever 21. I totally love this shop as the clothes fit on me perfectly. I chose this Empire One shoulder High-low Beading Baby Blue Prom Dress with the light sky blue high heels. I matched it with a gold and silver nail polish and pink peach lipstick with transparent lip gloss.

"Wow, Corelle! You look fa-bu-lous! You have picked the perfect dress for yourself! I am sure you will definitely win the best looking queen prize!" Gerlynn looked at me, her eyes shining bright. I chuckled and praised her too.

On the night of homecoming, it is very crowded with all the alumni and college students. We gathered on this night and dance. Just then, the speaker, Ms Valerie Teo, came up the stage and addressed us.

"Hello all college students and dear alumni. Now will be the best looking queen or king prize voting time. Okay, to make it fair and interesting for all, this year we'll add in the princess and prince prize too! Write down the names and vote for the person you like!" We all took the paper and started scribbling down names.

"Okay, dear students and alumni. Now is the final prize ceremony result. For the best looking Princess and best looking Prince, it is..." They started counting the votes and the winner is Jessica Louis and Dave Everette.

"For the best looking queen and king, it will be.."

"Corelle.. Corelle.. Corelle.." The speaker counted the number of votes I have. Let's just make it 30 votes.

"Adriel.. Adriel.. Adriel.." The speaker counted the number of votes for the king. Let's make it 35 votes.

"Congratulations to Corelle Smith and Adriel Cooper!" I blushed slightly as I moved to the stage. I saw the guy who I guessed should be Adriel walking up the stage when I stopped at the front of the stage. Wow, okay, I admit that he does look good and cool. I flipped my curled hair to the back and bend down as the president of the homecoming ceremony puts the tiara on my head. I took over the flower given to me by my voters and walked to the front of the stage and bowed to everyone. It is such a great pleasure to be the Queen of homecoming.

"Congratulations, Corelle!" Gerlynn appeared in front of me when I got down the stage and she hugged me tightly.

Two hours has passed and I am really getting bored here. I fished out my dearest iPhone 5s from my Light Blue Satin Ladies Diamante Prom Purse. I started scrolling through my instagram when I came across this picture of a guy that look similar like Adriel.

"Oo" I voiced out unknowingly.

"What are you looking at?" Gerlynn came over and look at my phone.

"Oo, oh, isn't that the king just now? What's his name again? A-Adrill? You're stalking him? Wow, you're fast, Corelle! You flipped through his instagram? Oh, Oh! Hey, Jess! Jess, look here! Corelle has followed the guy who named Adrill who is the best looking king just now!" I rolled my eyes. She pronounce the name wrongly. A-d-r-i-e-l not A-d-r-i-l-l. Anyway, Jessica is one of our best friends and she's quite close to us but she normally hangs out with her other 'peachy' friends so she's not really close to Caroline. Oh well, in all the vocabulary, I chose to call her friends 'peachy' and her nickname is Jess. Just as I was in the deep thoughts, my phone slipped and fell from my hands and I gasped.

"Oh no! It's my beloved iPhone 5s! Momma's gonna kill me for dropping it!" Just as I reached down to pick up the phone with the cracked screen, another hand reached down to pick it up first. Confused, I lifted my head and looked at the person in front of me and I was speechless. It is Adriel Cooper!

"Hi. I guess this is yours? Your phone's screen is cracked. I know someone who can solve that for you, do you need me to contact him?" He asked in concern and I shivered slightly at his calm voice.

"Y-Yes, it's mine. Thank you. Oh, really? Sure! I do not wish to let my momma see this crack, she's gonna nag me for the whole day!" I accepted his offer though.

"Alright then, give me a moment and I'll ring him." He spoke in that calm soothing voice.

"Ooo, someone's willing to help you~" Gerlynn sang and I frowned at her.

It was a good day at homecoming and I guess I met a new friend. Adriel Cooper. I think he should be a good friendly person. He's the one with sea green eyes and dark brown hair that look like he's just woken up from a 3 day sleep and that really look good on him.

This is my new book <Diary of Corelle> inspired by my friends. I will still continue with my first book <Crazy Love> but give me a lil more time. It is End Of Year Examinations next week so I have to focus on my exams first before I continue with wattpad. I hope I'll be able to update the next chapter of this book and <Crazy Love> by the first week after exams which will be three weeks away from now.
