That's it, Harry thought, putting a hand to his head and smiling.

Malfoy said he cared because he wants to still torment me!

" What's got you all excited?"

He turned his head to see his best friend, Ron Weasley.

Harry shook his head, smile faltering.
The red-haired boy shrugged and left him on the couch.

Harry had come up with the most reasonable explanation for why his enemy cared, so why did he still feel weird?

It felt like it did when he would have a crush on someone, but that couldn't be. It had to be pure anger, yes.

Because Harry Potter could absolutely not be with Draco Malfoy.

I mean, who would want to date a snake?

It would never work anyway, they had both hated each other for years. And the fact that Malfoy tried to kill him multiple times, also that he worked for Him.

The boy was so deep in his thoughts that he did not hear someone enter the common room.

" Hey, Harry," the person said.

He looked up and gave a half smile to the human in front of him.

It was one of his friends, Magic.
He also thought it ironic, how they could do magic, and that was their name.

" Hello, Magic. Fancy seeing you here at this hour."

They rolled their eyes at him.

" C'mon, it's two A.M.! You should be sleeping."

" It's funny that you think I sleep."

Harry laughed, Magic chuckling along.

" Besides, you're up. At two A.M."

He stopped laughing.
" I was just... thinking."

" I swear Harry, if it was about Draco again-"

" I was not!"

" Really? Because if I recall, you speak about him everyday-"

" NO I DON'T!"

" I'd actually be surprised if even a little part of it wasn't about him-"

" Magic please, I don't deserve this kind of treatment. I'd rather much you scream musical lyrics than pester me about Malfoy."

Magic cocked an eye brow.
" You would?"

" Actually... yeah no. I'm just going to go to bed."

" You do that. I'm going to go read some fan fiction."

"... what's-"

" SLEEP HARRY,  MY GOD."

Draco traced the name embroidered on his arm. Be let out a sign, looking out a window in a hallway. It was night, but he could not go to sleep.

Since he found out about his soulmate, sleep kept off his schedule.

He looked quite ghostly, his pale skin and almost white hair glowing in the moonlight, along with his white shirt.

A tear slipped down his face, also shinning from the light.

He wondered when Harry would get his, when Draco's name would appear on his skin.
