The Lost Princess

The day she was born was a day everyone would remember. The biggest celebration they have had yet. The infant, while in her mother's arms, slept soundly as her parents smiled down at her with a smile that held love, appreciation, and a strong proud radiance. The kingdom of Galaxia rejoicing for their new princess.

The small infant sleeps in her mother's arms peacefully, until she gets hungry and awakens with a loud cry of hunger. The blonde queen grabs a small bottle with an off white liquid inside. She gently places the tip of the baby bottle into her daughter's mouth which allows the baby to start drinking the baby formula. Once she is finished with her 'meal' she giggles happily. Her father reaches to take the small child from her mother's arms and holds her to his chest "careful with her dear, she's fragile." The queen states as she adjusts the baby in his arms "I know my love, i know." he replies. Once the baby is safely situated in his arms he walks to the front of the staircase leading to the Castle of the Royals. With a booming voice that quickly grasps the kingdoms attention he announces proudly "Kingdom of Galaxia. I, your king, now present to you the Princess of night. Luna Star Celestial I!!!" once he finishes his statement the kingdom erupts in an outstandingly loud applaud of happiness. The king leans down to whisper to the little babe "I will always protect you my princess. For as long as i live, i will do everything i can to protect you" and with that the night went on without any interruptions.

Unknowingly to everyone, there was one observer that smirked wickedly as he watched the kingdom rejoice for their new princess. The smirk on his face scared the shadows behind him. His psychotic eyes showed that he was looking forward to the future he had in store for the little girl.
He waves his hand to the side, the shadows understand his order and surround him. The pitch black figure laughs wickedly as he disappears into the shadows.
That night the mother wakes up to her child's cries of what appear to be hunger. She goes to Luna's nursery to feed her and finds the uncle to the child, the master of shadows, hovering over the baby's crib. The mother growls angrily "What are you doing to my daughter?!" She says sternly, not entirely caring about his answer. The man looks at her over his shoulder and smirks evilly "Why I am just paying a visit to my dear niece" he looks down at the infant in sinister excitement and malevolent joy "The amount of power this child holds is immeasurable to you or my darling brother." He cackles to himself "What I could use this child for could bring about the end of his creations!" The woman glares at him with disgust "That will never happen, Amenaza!!" She says with determination. "In due time, all will come together, my dearest Solaris~" Amenaza says with a glance of arrogance before dissipating into a pool of shadows and vanishing. Solaris immediately rushes to her child. She quickly approached the side of the crib to see her daughter's light blue hair turn into a deep dark black, signifying that her uncle had left his presence with the child. Solaris cries quietly and strokes the infant's once blue hair.
The next morning Solaris explains what had happened to the child to her husband. King Eclipse becomes outraged and orders a spell to be put around the kingdom territory for the protection of their daughter. Forcing all of it's citizens to stay inside of the protection barrier until further notice. Over time the king made laws and regulations to permit the exiting and entering of the barrier. But as the years went on, the young girl never lost her curiosity of what laid beyond the barrier.

A/n I have a lot planned for this story, this has been something in the making for years now and I hope to develop it into my own animated series on YouTube or something. Over time I will be making changes and editing the chapters as my writing develops. I'm very open to constructive criticism!! I will be updating every week or so!
