TODAY IS THE ANNIVERSARY OF ROSEMARY AND KAITO DELIA'S DEATH. Today is the day that Summer dreaded the most. It's been officially three years since her parents died protecting her.
They were all on a mission when it had ended up being a bit more dangerous than they thought it would. So, in order to protect their daughter they had to sacrifice themselves.
It broke everyones heart in Fairy Tail. But, they let the blonde haired girl have the day all to herself.
Summer sat on top of the hill, staring up at the sky with tears streaming down her face. She had a drawing on her lap that had both her parents and her on it. Reedus drew it the day Summer went on her first mission with them.
She missed them so much. It hurt badly to live in the apartment that they all lived in. It had so many memories of her and her family. But, she didn't want to let it go. She didn't want it to disappear.
"I know I shouldn't be bothering you today." Summer heard a male voice say from behind her making her turn to see the pink haired boy that she was so fond of, "But, I can't just leave you all alone when you're crying."
"Natsu." She whispered his name.
"Erza told me I should just let you cry it all out and I am going to let you do that. I'm not stopping you." He says as he walks towards her, sitting down next to the girl, "You're just going to cry on my shoulder."
She was surprised to hear him say that. She didn't expect that to come out of his mouth. Natsu looked into her teary blue eyes and grinned.
Blushing when he realized what he was thinking about. Summer was absolutely gorgeous. Even when she was crying.
Her lip quivered and thats when she started to cry even more. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her in so that she was crying on his shoulder, her hands against his chest.
"You're not alone, Summer. I know it might feel like that but I promise that you aren't. You have me. You have Fairy Tail." He tells her and it had actually soothed her.
She knows that she told everyone to leave her alone on the anniversaries of her parents death. But she definitely needed someone by her side now.
Natsu was that someone that she really needed. She never knew just how comforting it would be to have him by her side.
