This vampire love story is an easy-reading book, if one can say. The plot is well thought, and the sentences are simple and easily understandable for those who uses English as their second language. Although it is in 51 chapters, it's not boring, it doesn't complicate things that should be complicated and the ending is perfect. Yes, for starting-readers, this book is light, which means it doesn't have as many pages as you might have thought, for it only held 51 pages. Dare can I say, you can finish this book in less than 4 hours-as I stated before, it is light, and the writing style is pretty simple.

It is very recommended for teens, or pre-teens, for there are no mature contents. Classified as romance, there are no sexual contents or any swearing. You won't feel burdened by having to finish this book in a long period of time.

As for the story itself, the characters are fun and consistent. For example (spoiler alert) when Mia turned into a vampire, and she's famished, she didn't drink blood instantly. There's a real feeling in which Mia felt out of place where blood was not her main food previously, but it was now. So she tried not to drink it, but after some moments of washing away shock, she did. Luc on the other hand, was pretty fun to read too. All in all, they are a perfect main role.

I haven't read the second, third or fourth installment of the series, but you might check them out, I have a feeling they're going to top this book.
