This romance storyline follows yet another cliche plot of how childhood best friends turns into a deeply in love lovers, but the amazing plot twists and story lines makes up everything. Follow Oakley as she embarks her journey as a mute girl with dark mysteries that makes you keep coming back for more. The chapters are strong, fillers are kept to a minimum and the author knows when to spill all of Oakley's past. The writing and plots are not rushed, and it is very recommended for readers looking for some emotional stories.

You can't help but feeling symphaty for Oakley and Cole. Because with everything that's going on, the romantic events pop out more than ever before. It is very well written, where we can still know what Oakley thinks, but she didn't give any clues to what was happening to her. No hints, no clues, and that's what keeps readers reading: to prove their wild theories.

The mature contents are being kept to a minimum also, barely covering the details (and there are no separate mature contents for those who wants to read them) but sweet nonetheless.

This plot turns out to be cliche free. They get their happy ending, and throughout the chapter, it tells about Okaley's adventure to believe in herself. Cole is very much alive, and again, (spoiler alert) for the first 10 chapters, the relationship are left vague. The feelings Oakley felt for everything that she has put her family through are crystal, left in-hyperbolas and true. However, the plot are being rushed or kept at a slow pace at several paragraph. Fillers are being kept and romance stay afloat (more romance than book I) and the trials procedure are being stated and lived, making this story easily related for those who have done this before.

The characters are very consistent throughout the series, nothing changed and some new supporting characters are being added. At some point, (spoiler alert) we will find a chapter dedicated to Okaley's brother, and it is not that relevant to the story itself, but the writer makes a smart choice of making Oakley's brother a story of his own, rather than putting his story on the book, for it will stain Silence.

All in all, this series is greatly written and executed well, with no grammar mistakes visible, clear intentions and great emotions.
