"Little lamb?"

Seeing him, my smile faded away as my face melted into one of annoyance. I put down the cat and wore my choker.

"What do you want from me?" Pulling out a lavender rose from seemingly nowhere, he grabbed my hand.

"This, is for you, my lady. Only such pretty flowers are worth someone as beautiful as you. " Taking the flower that was put in my hand, I slowly admired it.

I wasn't a fan of his sweet talking, but I could appreciate a freshly cut rose. "A purple rose, huh? Does that mean I've captured your attention from the first time we met?" (for those who don't understand this part, it has something to do with the meaning of purple roses)

"Of course, Kazuko." My eyes widened slightly, face still impassive. "I don't remember us being close enough for you to be calling me by first name basis. And how did you know who I was?"

He lightly chukled. "Rumors have been spreading all over. About a pretty girl who has gotten my attention and seems awfully chummy with Hayato's twin.

Also, you can't be that oblivious to the looks boys were giving you around school, no? Staring at your hair, nose , and those delicious lips."

With that, his finger touched my nose and landed on my lips. Leaning in, he whispered, breath hot on my ear. "Not to mention these unique eyes. They shine brighter than the stars. Who could resist?"

Suddenly, the cat at my ankles hissed at him, prompting him to back off. Kneeling down so he was face to face with the cat, he smiled. "Little kitty, are you jealous?"

In response, the cat hissed and scratched his face. Seeing this, I couldn't help but laugh. "So you can smile after all, little lamb."

"What's that supposed to mean? Anyways let's go." "Go? Go where?" I sighed and extended a hand out to him. "The nurse's office of course. I can't have you bleeding like that can I? Your fangirls will murder me if they found out."

"Don't move." After pouring some strike water into a kidney dish, I used a pair of tweezers to dab a cotton ball in the water before cleaning the scratch on his face.

"If it hurts just let me know." Gently dabbing the wound, I tried to use a light touch. Afterwards, I cut and placed gauze before tapping it."Done. If they asked what happened to you just come up with an excuse yourself."

Pouring the remaining sterile water into the sink, I washed and sterilized it before putting it back in the kit. As I was doing so, he commented, "You're pretty good at this you know?"

"Is that so? I used to be in the health committee at my previous school." He must have seen my sad expression as he apologized for talking about something sensitive.

"It's fine. It's just that no one wanted me to join their club when I was younger and the health committee was the only one which was open so... Anyways I shouldn't be talking about this to you.

Those days are long over. It's pretty late, you should go get some sleep." I was contemplating leaving right then, but something crossed my mind instead.

"Oh and Jinguji-san, if you want to attract more girls, you should try being more sincere. And don't waste your time on me, I won't be falling for your tricks anytime soon."

"But they aren't just tricks, my lady. You really are an intriguing one. You make me want to be more sincere with you."

"Your harsh exterior and soft interior makes me want to see it all for myself." I yawned. "Is that so, Jinguji? Well you'll have to try harder or else that's something you'll never achieve."
