Chapter 2

Koolie

"You know I love you right?" He asked straight to my eyes?

"Ahm Yes?" I hesitantly answered.

"Honey, you shouldn't doubt my feelings. I love you." He said making my heart race.

"Do you really?"

"Yes."

"I love you too." I confessed. His face lit up. He took a deep breath and knelt.

If my heart was racing earlier, I think it just doubled it's speed right now.

"Kaye Olivianiece Mendes, Will you be my girlfriend?"

And before I could answer the whole garden was lit up with glowing Christmas lights. So beautiful.

I thought we we're just having dinner. I'm shocked.

"Kaye, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked again.

I looked at him with adoration. This guy has been patient with me. He is so wonderful that I think I don't deserve him. But I love him, and he loves me. That's more important.

I smiled at him and nodded.

"Yes Luke, I will be your girlfriend." I answered.

He stood up and hugged me tightly.

"Thank you, Thank you Kaye. I love you so much." He whispered.

But then he tighten his hug more that causing me to suffocate.

"Wait!" I shouted. He didn't listen.

"Luke, let me go! I can't breath!" I can't breath!

"Luke!" I woke up breathing hard.

"Panaginip." I felt disappointed.

I sobbed. No.

Lagi nalang ganito. Ayaw ko na. Sobrang sakit na!

I got up from bed at dumiretso ng kusina para uminom ng tubig.

Suddenly, I'm craving for ice cream. Really Koolie? I got frustrated to myself.

Everytime I got emotional I always want to eat something. Argh.

I opened the fridge only to find out na wala nang ice cream. Nakakainis naman!

I need something to eat or I can't calm down! My heart is still palpitating. Damn you Luke, kasalanan mo to!

I looked at the clock in the kitchen, laking pasalamat ko ng makitang it's still 11:36. I think, I can still go to the convenience store near the subdivision.

Dali-dali akong bumalik sa kwarto para magbihis ng hoodie at jogging pants. I'll be using my bike so medyo mahangin kaya I need protection. Hehe.

Usually, 11 pm tahimik at madilim na ang bahay kaya probably daddy and the maids are sleeping na. Di nalang ako magpapa-alam. Saglit lang naman ako.

Before ako tuluyang lumabas nagpa-alam muna ako sa guard namin na si Manong Cardo.

"Mag-iingat po kayo Maam."

"Opo. I'll be back in a bit."

Tsaka na ako tuluyang umalis. It didn't took me 5 minutes to arrive since malapit lang talaga.

Pag pasok ko may dalawang customers na lang, usually kasi madaming tumatambay dito, pero dahil it's almost midnight wala masyadong tao.

Dumiresto ako sa may ice cream and picked 1 gallon of cookies and cream, 1 gallon of chocolate and 2 magnums.
