Snape wondered up the stairs of the ruined house, ignoring James' body on the staircase. He peered into the room of the small infant to see his childhood love laying lifeless on the floor. Young Harry crying, Snape hugged her close, ignoring his cries. Snape was one of the few who knew of the second child in the room: the one that unborn, the child that was so premature that Lily's stomach barely stuck out.
He knew he had to try to save the child, he needed a piece of her
He held her close and apparated to St.Mungos crying out for help. A nurse quickly ran over "We can't reverse a killing curse" she told him sympathetically "she's pregnant! Save the baby! You have to save the baby!" He screamed through tears
The nurse levitated her to a room and asked Severus to leave so she could operate. He regretfully left the room
After a couple hours crying could be heard throughout the hospital. But it wasn't the cry of great sadness, it was the cry of a baby. Snape walked into the room and saw an unusually small baby lying in an incubator with wires and tubes attached, 5 different medical wizards surrounding it and muttering spells
After a while the same nurse from before handed the small baby to Snape "congratulations, what are you going to name her?" "Hannah Lily Evans Potter"
