Tonight was the ball and I needed to start getting ready
I opened my wardrobe and found the dress robes that were purchased last week. I changed into my robes and slicked back my hair making sure I looked decent.
As I finished getting ready I wondered how much work mum was doing on Hannah to prepare her...
Hannah's POV
Cissy was teaching me proper manners for the ball as she applied slight, natural, makeup "Make sure to always address people as Sir, Ma'am, Mr. Mrs. Etc, even Draco will be Sir Draco, I will be Mrs. Malfoy and Lucius will be Mr. Malfoy. Now after you are ready you will have a small dance lesson, Draco will be your partner to start but try to mingle with other children but even mingling you must maintain your manner." She finished my makeup and I looked at myself in the mirror. My hair was in an elegant and complex braid

And I still needed to get into my dress.
I slipped into my baby blue dress, careful not to mess up my hair or makeup and strapped on my mini heels. I then walked down the staircase to meet Draco in the ballroom for my lesson.
Draco's POV
Hannah walked into the room like a princess. Silver heels and a blue dress, she didn't look like a little girl, (if you don't look at her height) she looked perfect.
We started dancing and she actually wasn't too bad.
By the end of about an hour her dancing was fine and we worked on her manners again.
3rd person POV
As the 2 young children prepare, they barely noticed Mr. Malfoy walk into the room watching them
After about 10 minutes Hannah looked up at the grandfather clock, her gaze stopping half way up and resting upon Lucius.
Draco POV
I followed Hannah's eyes to meet my Father's. He seemed pleased with Hannah's improvement "You 2, go and await by the door, our guests shall be arriving soon" Father ordered. We quickly stood patiently at the door and waited for guests.
Hannah POV
We had been waiting for about 5 minutes when the doorbell rung and Draco and I pulled the large manor door open. "Good evening Mr. and Mrs. Nott" Draco greeted and kissed the lady's hand. "Good evening" I repeated "Oh, and who might you be?" Mrs.Nott asked me as if I were an adorable 3 year old "Hannah Evans" I introduced myself "Aw, Theodore come out and meet the new hostess" she said Theodore? A small boy about Draco's height came out from behind Mr. and Mrs.Notts' legs. He had sandy blonde highlights in his brown hair, and bright green eyes. "Hannah Evans" "Theodore Nott" we shook hands, I was trying my best to be proper and hoped I was correct in doing so. The three walked into the Manor and headed towards the Ballroom while Draco and I stayed by the, now open, doors. Many more people came in, 5 families had children: 4 with little boys, 1 with 2 girls, one girl Draco's age and one girl my age. They introduced themselves as the Greengrasses, the Crabbes, the Flints, the Zabinis, and the Goyles. It was almost time for us to join the rest in the ballroom when one last family came in. A little girl with black hair ran in and attached herself to Draco "PANSY! get off him at once we are not barbarians!" The girl detached herself immediately and kept her head down "Sorry about that, Rose Parkinson and this is Cassius" the mother said "Pleasure meet you" I curtsied and waited for them to pass before we followed towards to ballroom as our time of standing by the door was over. We lingered outside the Ballroom "So, we have to 'mingle' so what do ya say we talk to the others and meet up for the 1st dance?" I proposed "sounds like a plan" we walked into the room and I went to Theodore, Draco went to Vincent Crabbe. "Hello Sir" I said, making my presence known "Hello Madam" Theodore said, kissing my hand "How come you've never attended previous balls?" He asked me "I am currently staying with Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy" I explained "I've run out of fancy words!" He joked, I laughed and covered my mouth with my hand "I know right!" I exclaimed. Finally someone you gets it! I thought. Just then, the music started up signaling the first dance was starting "Sorry I have to go, I promise Draco my first dance!" "Fine, as long as I get the second one" "deal" and with that we went our separate ways as I went to find Draco.
I found him as he had been finishing prying the Parkinson girl. We quickly came together and started dancing. I didn't even step on him this time! It came time to switch partners and I saw Theodore standing next to me, awaiting the switch. I started to dance with him, "We meet again Theodore" "Please, just call me Theo" "Alright" "You're probably the strangest 3 year old I've ever met" he said 3 year old? "Excuse me? 3 year old?" I was mad, that's nearly half my age "How old are you then?" "IM 5" I corrected it was time to switch partners again and I moved without another word. My new partner was the Zabini boy, then Flint, who was over a foot and a half taller than my since he was twice my age. We finally stopped dancing and I went to get a drink, everything was in champagne glasses. I picked up a butter beer and sipped it. It was delicious, as always. I walked on over to the little girl my age Astoria Greengrass was her name. We giggled for a bit about random jokes we thought of.
My night continued pretty much the same, talking, dancing, more talking, more dancing. At one point there was a Daddy daughter dance and Lucius danced with me since he didn't have a daughter himself. I went back to talking to people until the guests started to leave and Ciss- I mean Mrs.Malfoy, found me "Theodore Nott will be spending the night here, I suspect you've met" "Yes Ma'am" "Good, I figure it would be good for you guys since you'll be going to Hogwarts together, Lucius thinks Draco's going to Durmstrang but I can tell you right now that's not happening" I curtsied and nodded, then walked over to Draco and sipped what would be my 6th butter beer, until it was just Theo, the Malfoys, and I left in the grand Ballroom. We all walked upstairs and I lingered behind I bit and turned to Cissy "I'm going to help undoing all this" I said gesturing to my hair, makeup, and clothes. "Yes of course, I'll help you with that and have Dobby run one of those rainbow baths you enjoy so much." She led me into the grand bathroom and started taking off my makeup "So, what do you think of Theo?" She asked me wiggling her eyebrows, this was why I didn't like when other people were at the Manor, the professional thing was an act, when we were alone she was fun and silly. "He thought I was three!" I said in an upset tone. She just started laughing and moved on to undoing my hair. "Oh, and you can't wear that silly sleepwear tonight" she said "what's wrong with my pajamas?" I usually wear an oversized grey T-shirt and comfy short shorts to sleep. "We have a guest and your sleepwear isn't exactly the most 'Malfoy' thing to wear you know?" I guess that's fair "WILMA!" She shouted for another house elf *pop* "yes mistress Malfoy" "please go get 2 of my nightgowns and robes" "Yes ma'am" *pop* "2?" I asked confused "yes, what else would we wear" she said as she helped me get out of my dress *pop* Wilma appeared again, this carrying 4 folded silk items "Thank you!" I told her and took the clothes from her as she disappeared once again she's a free elf, therefore the only one who gets clothes, but she still stays here. I dont get it. I thought as I handed a gown and a robe to Cissy "put them on a second" she told me and I obeyed. She muttered something under her breath and pointed her wand at me, the clothes shrunk to fit my small frame perfectly and I took them back off.
I climbed into the gigantic bathtub. Bubbles of all colors covered the surface and the warm water relaxes all of my muscles instantly. The magic in the suds is a part of that too. Every color has a different type of magic. I know one makes you relaxed, one makes you sleepy, one makes you happy for no reason. There are more but the point is that when you bathe in all of them, it creates the perfect bath. I soaked for a while before washing my hair and body. Then I soaked for a few more minutes before climbing out and wrapping a luxuriously fluffy towel around me to dry off. I put on the gown first, then combed through my hair, finally putting on the silk robe.
The Grand bathroom is on the opposite end of the hall from my room so I walked for a bit till I finally reached my bedroom door. Now I say grand bathroom because every bedroom in the manor has an attached bathroom that includes a toilet, a sink, and a small shower. However they aren't as large or luxurious as the one at the end of the hall. I walked into my room and flopped onto my bed, not bothering with the covers, I just wanted to sleep.
