"Hannah! Come on we have to go!" I shout in the doorway and see the little girl I raised jump from the tree in the yard. Her bright green eyes shining as she ran towards me and into the house. I smiled at her excitement to go to the Malfoys'. This year she'd be staying with them instead of staying with a nanny like usual. She ran back out off the house dragging her trunk with one hand and clutching her teddy bear in the other.
I picked her up and grabbed her trunk apparating to their manor. I kissed her forehead at the door, knocked, and then apparated to platform 9 3/4. I got on the hogwarts express hoping she'd like it there
Hannah POV
Sevie dropped me off at Malfoy Manor and left, I've never been here before but I have met Lucy and Cissy many times. The door is opened by a boy with slick platinum blonde hair and stormy grey eyes "You must be Draco" I said to the boy in the doorway "so you must be Hannah" "yep" a house elf appeared and took my trunk and Uncle Lucy appeared next to Draco "Come in Hannah, welcome" Uncle Lucy said. I stepped into the house and admired the beauty of it. Cissy was sitting on a couch in the lounge reading the daily prophet, she looked up from the paper and greeted me similarly to the ones I already received. "Draco, Hannah will be staying in the bedroom left of yours please show her to it" Cissy said and Draco took my wrist, leading me up a very large staircase and finally to 2 doors one read 'Draco' the other read 'Hannah' he opened the door with my name on it and I saw a large bed, my stuff, a bay window, and another door. Draco walked to the other door and opened it. I peeked in and saw a similar room with quidditch equipment and everything was green and silver "this is my room, if you need anything just open the door and ask" he explained. There was an awkward silence until "well, wanna go in the pool?" He asked. I love the pool. "Sure, just lemme get changed" . I closed the door and opened my trunk. I pulled out my bikini bathing suit, it had a yellow top and a black, high waisted, bottom. I put it on and opened the door to the hallway, seeing Draco in swim shorts, showing off his abs wait a minute, he's 6 how can he have abs??!! Well, he does I thought to myself before snapping myself back to reality and walked all the way down the staircase. We finally came to the backyard where a gigantic pool was in the center, it looked large enough to be a small lake. I didn't hesitate and immediately started running towards it, I jumped in, splashing Draco in the process. He just sat on the edge of the pool, put his feet in, and slid the rest of his body in. Cissy came out and smiled at us "Hannah dear wouldn't you like something to eat, I expect you've had a long day?" She said as I pushed my hair out of my face "not really, I woke up, got dressed, ate, climbed a tree, read a book in said tree, jumped out of said tree, and came here." I responded "though I wouldn't mind eating if it were in Diagon Alley" I said a slight smirk creeping onto my face "why Diagon Alley?" Draco asked "I like reading the books at Flourish and Blotts while sevie gets his school stuff. And there's ice cream!" I reply as if it were the most obvious reply ever. "Why don't you just buy the books?" He asked "well, mummy and daddy died before I was born so they didn't have a vault for me yet, but my big brother does! But I don't know my brother so I can't use his vault, so I have no money to buy the books" I answered "Well you're with the Malfoys now so we're going to get you your very own vault at gringotts" said Cissy "REALLY!!!!" I was so excited "sure, now go get ready Gringotts isn't coming to us!" I pulled myself out of the pool faster than you can say quidditch and sped into the house, drying myself with a towel while running towards my room.
Draco's POV
I watched and chuckled as the tiny girl that I've known for only an hour speed into the house and couldn't help but think of her strange appearance: she was unbelievably short for a 5 year old, had the greenest eyes I've ever seen, her golden hair was more strawberry blonde at the bottom as if faded red, but the craziest part was she was covered in scars, maybe she's just a crazy child who does stupid things but her stomach covered in long white lines, chest with shorter lines, legs with circles, and a zigzag on her foot. I knew that Snape was my godfather and my parents were her godparents so we'd be like family if anything happened. I pulled myself out of the pool knowing she would be mad if I slowed the trip to Diagon Alley
Once in my room I put on my black shorts and white collared shirt and re-gelled my hair before walking down the stairs to the fireplace we use for floo, mum was already there and Hannah came down the stairs in very different attire: a blue v-neck shirt and denim shorts. She looked very embarrassed when she noticed the difference "I-I s-should g-go change" she stuttered, keeping her head low and turning around "don't be silly, you look fine" I assured her. We stepped into the chimney together "Diagon Alley" I yelled and tossed the powder before we were appeared in a potion supply shop. I saw mum, knowing she apparated here. "Are you sure you want to just give me money? I mean I not even legally your child" Hannah said "Nonsense, you are my godchild, therefore my child" Mum said as we walked to Gringotts. We walked in and Mum went straight to a goblin "I'd like to open a vault for Ms. Evans Potter here." Mum said before turning to me "sweetie we're going to be a bit, why don't you go get something to eat" she told me and handed me a couple galleons
I exited the bank and went roaming the streets looking for a restaurant that catches my eye
Hannah POV
After Draco left the goblin had to ask me questions "date of birth" "June 5th 1981" I answered Cissy had a face of shock and excitement "that's Draco's birthday!" She exclaimed. The goblin didn't care "height?" "3 foot 2 inches" "who shall inherit this vault shall you perish?" "Mr. Harry Potter" he then turned to Cissy "How much would you like to take from your vault to hers?" "One million galleons" I gaped: I knew she was giving me money but a million! "Very well, Ms. Evans Potter's key will be ready by 12:30. Mrs.Malfoy please leave your key for the transfer." Cissy handed the goblin her key and with that we exited Gringotts to find Draco is it weird I wanna find the food that Draco bought more than Draco? He found him with a styrofoam holder with 3 ice cream cones in it: 2 a chocolate with brownie and fudge, and 1 with pistachio (barf) I gladly picked up a chocolate ice cream and licked it "How'd you know Hannah would want chocolate?" Cissy asked Draco "because chocolate is always the answer" Draco and I said in sync. " so where do you guys want to go while we wait?" "How about Madame Malkin's robes?" Asked Draco.
At madame Malkin's I got a blue robe and Draco got a black one "You know we're hosting another ball soon we should get you guys some new clothes for it!" Cissy said as she dragged Draco to the dress robe section.
After Draco got dress robes I got a dress, simple but pretty, It looked so elegant on the maniquine.

It was then time to pick up my key. We quickly came in and left. I put my key in my change purse that had several extension charms on it so it was practically bottomless. We finally flooed back to the Manor with all our stuff in hand. "How soon is the ball?" I asked Cissy " In a week" she replied simply "ONE WEEK!" I exclaimed in shock
