The day slowly came to an end as the sky began to turn into the rainbow of colors that is the sunset. Tonight was the final night of the Pokémon convention and for those who took this opportunity to confess, time was running out. Everyone left their Pokémon at the spa for the rest of the day, to give them a well deserved break.

The two coordinators from the Hoenn region were out, walking around the beach, in pursuit of the statues.

"So, where should we look next?" May asked her partner, looking around. Drew was silent, deep in thought. It was getting late and he really wanted to tell her, but he was scared. No, he was terrified, that she would reject him and never want anything to do with him, ever again. "Drew?" May said, bringing him back from his thoughts.

"Hm?" Drew hummed glancing at her, only to get caught up in her beauty.

"I asked where we should look for the statues next." May stated, putting a hand on her hip. Drew just stared at her, still not sure if he should tell her. "Drew, is something wrong?"

He gave a sigh, having made his decision. "I have to tell you something... important." Drew finally declared. He closed his eyes, took in a deep breath. "May, I need to tell you..." Drew paused still unsure if he should say, but continued "...that I'm in love with you. I have been for a while. You have intrigued me from day one and it grew, so much over the years."

May just stood there, shocked by what he had confessed. 'He...he really loves me? I..I can't believe it, this is a-' May thought but Drew continued his speech, interrupting her.

"But, I understand that you don't feel the same way about me." Drew stated sadly.

"No, no, no, Drew!" May squealed. "I...I love you, too." May remarked as her cheeks turned a shade of red and a huge smile formed on her face.

The two stared at each other, then Drew smiled and held out a thornless, beautiful, flawless, red rose to her. May giggled and before she could take it, Drew had placed it behind her ear. Then, they both stepped forward and leaned forward and slowly closed their eyes. As their lips met, Drew pulled her closer, one hand on her cheek and the other rapped around her waist. May's hands just rested against his chest as they kissed. When they parted, they didn't move for a while, just stayed, happy to have the one they love.

However, Brianna had been followed them, in hopes to somehow confess to Drew. After seeing the two though, she ran away crying.

"How could he!" Brianna sobbed as she ran.

She just ran and ran until she reached a bench in town. She sat down and cried, covering her face with her hands. Kenny happened to be walking back to the event, from his grand escape a bit ago.

"Hey, you ok?" Kenny asked, sitting next to her.

"No." Brianna whimpered. "Drew...and...May...are together...now."

Kenny looked confused and stated "To be honest, I thought they were already together. They obviously had feelings for each other."

Brianna looked up to him horrified. "Then why would you suggest us teaming up to win them back when you knew he wouldn't?" Brianna asked, as tears ran down her cheeks.

"Because...I thought..." Kenny trailed off, scratching the back of his head.

"What? You thought that your little De-De would come running to you? You thought she would love you too? Well guess what? She didn't want you and is off with someone else!" Brianna yelled.

Kenny looked to the ground sad, but looked up and remarked "I guess we are in the same boat. Who knew right?"

"Yeah." Brianna replied, wiping her tears away.

"Hey, for what it's worth, Drew doesn't know what he is missing. You are really pretty, a great coordinator and also really nice." Kenny said.

Brianna stared at him for a moment in shock. She smiled and looked away, a bit of a blush staining her cheeks. "Thanks, and Dawn is also missing out on a really good guy."

"Thanks, now how about we go find those statues?" Kenny questioned, as he stood up and held out his hand to help her up.

Brianna smiled and took his hand. "That sounds great, let's do it."

So they walked off to find the luvdisc, hand in hand, happy to have each in this sad moment.

Elsewhere, Misty and Tracey were out looking in tide pools for the statues. Misty's idea of course, being the water type specialist, she figured they would hid the water Pokemon statues in the water. To no luck is seemed. Not that Misty minded, it was great to spend time with Tracey. No interruptions from challengers or sisters or anything.

"Have you found one yet?" Tracey asked.

"No, not yet." Misty answered, a smile gracing her lips.

Tracey stood up and said "Anymore ideas on where they might be?"

"Not at the moment. What about you?" Misty asked.

"Hmm." Tracey hummed as he fiddled with his sweat band. "Maybe we should...try the hotel or something?"

Misty's eyes grew wide. It was calm out by the water, no one else, just the two. She wanted the moment to last, just a little longer.

"Um, sure, but could we stay out here a bit longer?" Misty pleaded.

"Of course." Tracey replied. "Anything you have in mind?"

Misty turned away and rested her fist against her mouth. Was now really the time to tell him?

"T-Tracey...I w-want to...t-tell you...something." Misty stammered as she turned to him, but still didn't make eye contact.

"What is it? Is something wrong?" Tracey questioned concerned.

"No, nothing is wrong, but...um...I...I'm..." Misty gulped squeezed her eyes shout before she finished "in love with you, Tracey."

"What?" Tracey asked, very surprised.

"I love you!" Misty shouted. "But, I know, you just see me as a friend and probably have a thing for Daisy."

"Woah, Misty! That's not true." Tracey assured her.

"It's not?" Misty asked, finally locking eyes with him.

"No. In fact, I love you too, but I thought you still had a crush on Ash." Tracey admitted, sheepishly.

Misty giggled and replied "No, and actually, I got over Ash a bit after I meet you."

They smiled at each other. Then Misty walked right up to him, stood on her tip toes and planted a kiss on his lips. Before Misty could pull away, Tracey grabbed hold of her waist and pulled her to him. The kiss was magical for the two. When they pulled apart Misty rested her head on his chest, listening to his heart beat. They stayed out there for a while, simply enjoying each other.

"What do you say we go look for the luvdisc?" Tracey broke the silence.

"Sure." Misty mused.

They let go of one another and walked to the hotel with the biggest smiles. Misty and Tracey didn't stay apart long, for Tracey rapped his arm around her as they walked.
