Kirishima has just gotten out of the shower when he heard the repeated singing of his phone stop. He looked at it, and it said:
Missed call : Bakubro
Voicemail : BakubroKirishima was pleasantly surprised that Bakugou would call him at such a late hour. He was still a little mad at the guy, but he realized his mistake of overreacting and being unnecessarily pushy and most of all, not giving him enough time to explain himself.
The redhead felt so guilty it wasn't even funny. He decided to punish himself by prohibiting himself from sweets or anything high in sugar. Sure it wasn't the best punishment, but it was agonizing to Eijirou.
He picked up his phone and played the message on speaker with the volume way up as he got dressed.
To Kirishima, Bakugou sounded...sad? There was a tone to his voice that anyone who knew Katsuki wouldn't miss.
Sorrow.
He heard a chuckle on the phone and something he never thought would come out of Bakugou's foul mouth.
"But anyway, no relatives live in or anywhere close to me and I'm saying now that.... I'm willing tell you anything you want if... if you let me explain. Come to the hospital or give me a call if you get this shit. Or don't if you're still on your high-horse, I don't care. Bye."
The phone beeped indicating the end of the voicemail. Kirishima was taken aback. Never in a million years would he think Bakugou, the angry explosive yet handsome jerk, would say he'd swallow his endless pride and tell him anything he wanted to know. And that made Eijirou worry more. His mind went in overload while he thought more and more about the blond's attitude. He began to mumble his thoughts aloud.
"He's acting calmer than usual. He's willing to hold back his huge ego just to explain. But is all that true? Can I trust him enough to do that? Is it too personal? Am I the problem here? Am I forcing him to do this because I called him a selfish child? Why are his parents over seas? When will he get out of the hospital? Why me of all people? What about Deku or Kaminari?" He got up restlessly from his bed and paced around the room, continuing to mumble senseless questions until he pulled tight on his wet hair.
"What the hell is his problem?" he asked himself. He then flopped back on his bed tiredly.
'I sound like Midoryia.' He breathlessly chuckled at the thought.
"All right, I'm going to the hospital tomorrow. That way he can't run away and neither can I," he said to the inanimate objects around him. He found his way once again under the warmth of his blankets and drifted off to sleep.

Kirishima was once again outside of Bakugou's hospital. Why oh why did he make himself come here? He face palmed physically before hurrying inside and checked himself in.
He found Bakugou's room quicker this time, already standing outside the room. It was morning and visiting hours had just begun so he didn't even know if the man was awake of not.
He hesitantly opened the door, closing it behind him before he heard a voice.
"Oi, why are you back in here you fucking-" he stop mid-sentence when he spotted the red head peering around the corner.
"Hey, man! Bad timing?" he cheerfully asked with a bright smile. The blond stared rudely in utter disbelief. Kirishima finally sat down in the chair next to the injured hero and continued to smile as if his life was filled with happiness. And in reality, most of it was.
