Kirishima was both startled and pleasantly surprised to see his old best friend in a small coffee shop, not to mention dressed in nice clothing. He hastily pulled out his earbuds and smiled at Katsuki.

"Well hey there! Long time no see Bakugou!" Kirishima greeted. The other scoffed before removing his warm hands from Eijirou's shoulders. Katsuki then picked up his drink from the seat and sat down in front of him.

"I see you've improved your reflexes, shitty hair," he complemented. Kirishima laughed.

"I haven't heard that nickname in a while. Is it strange that I missed it?" Eijirou chuckled and Bakugou smirked.

"And I'd forgotten how much of a dumbass you are," he insulted sarcastically. Eijirou chuckled once again as Katsuki sipped his drink.

"What's with the nice clothes?" Kirishima asked. The acknowledgment seemed to have irritated the man by the way he set his drink down. Katsuki leaned back in his chair.

"I had a shit meeting today. They told me to take the summer off because they're worried about my health." He scoffed. "Damn Deku, he should mind his own business." That statement reminded Kirishima of what his captain said to him.

"The Hero Deku requested if all of his former classmates be let off for the summer. His request had been approved since there are so much heroes in the agency, but if someone is needed, they would come, do their job, and go back to being free for the summer. And since you're apart of that class, you are receiving a paid vacation."

He was so excited to see his old friends again that he practically was jumping in delight as soon as he got home. But after hearing that Bakugou wasn't going to be a part of that vacation, he became disappointed.

"I received the same thing. Except mine was a direct order from my boss. She said that Deku's the one that requested for all of class 1-A to be released for the summer." He chuckled as Bakugous glare penetrated Eijirous soul. He then sighed and stole another sip of his drink.

"It cant be helped if it's an order from your boss." He laughed a tired laugh and that's when Kirishima noticed the almost black circles under his eyes.

"Have you been sleeping well? You look drained," he asked. Katsuki looked away as he set his arms on the small table. His hands were scared with burns and cuts probably from over-using his quirk. He looked like he wanted to say something but kept quiet.

At least for a second.

"To be honest, no," he paused as if he was choosing his next words carefully. "My mattress is out dated and so I ordered another one that's taking its fucking time to get here." Kirishima eyed him suspiciously for a second, having the feeling that he was lying, but he decided to let it go. It wasn't his business to push.

They ended up talking until sunset. Kirishima told him about the recent jobs he'd just completed and Bakugou informed Eijirou about the job he'd been requested to operate. The shop was soon to close so the two men left the restaurant. They walked until they came across trees and bushes before they stopped.

"Hey, shit face, give me your number," Katsuki demanded. Kirishima was surprised at the order, but he did as he was told. He didn't try to argue because he knew Katsuki Bakugou was confusing as it is. Soon enough, Kirishima received a text from his mom asking him to get some things for her. He quickly texted back.

"Okay buddy, I have to run some errands for my Mom. Text me later kay?" he said not looking up from his phone. Bakugou scoffs before mumbling a "sure". Eijirou waved his old friend goodbye as he walked down the street opposite of Katsuki.
