Chapter Seven 

"Hello?" 

"Hi, I was wondering if I could set up a check-up with Mr. Kim?" Y/n said as she was fiddling with the blanket that was wrapped around her. 

"Is your appointment for pet, hybrid, or human?" The lady asked. 

"Uhm...hybrid." 

"...Ohhkay, well, someone canceled their appointment today, so can you come in at 5:30 tonight?" 

"That's in ten minutes!" Y/n raised her voice. 

"You either take that slot or wait another month." The lady said. Y.n groaned internally and sighed in defeat. "Fine, I'll take it," After setting up the appointment, she went to go tell the hybrids about the news. She walked to the backyard to see Taehyung and Jimin playing around.

"Taehyung! Jimin! We have to go to the vet. Hurry up, we got...8 minutes!" Y/n shouted. The two boys ran up to her. 

"Who is it for?" Taehyung asked. 

"No questions, just hurry and get ready. We got to go!"

"I CAN'T GO!" Jimin cried. When Jimin found out that he had to go to the vet, he wasn't ready, he was scared. It brought back memories. 

When Jimin was still with his old master, whenever he would get sick or would get injured, his master would bring a woman who was wearing a white and inject him with the most painful thing ever. Jimin would cry for nights because the pain lingered. His master would dunk Jimin's head in gallons of water until Jimin would stop crying. 

"I can't go through that again." Jimin looked at Y/n. "Please, Y/n," 

"I can't let you live with me unless you have had all your shots done, and you're healthy." 

"Can you please come with me?" Jimin asked. Y/n laughed while Taehyung just sighed. 

"Sure, now, let's go." Y/n gestured the two hybrids to go into the doctor's room. As they walked inside, Jimin clung onto Y/n. The room was white. Too clean. Taehyung thought. He scrunched his nose before sitting on the chair. 

"Hi guys, I'm Dr. Kim. Now, one of you guys will be having a check-up today, correct?" Dr. Kim smiled. 

"Yeap, and it is this one." Y/n replied, pulling Jimin away from her. Taehyung gestured Y/n to sit next to him. She declined while ruffling his hair. 

Dr. Kim smiled. "Okay, well, Jimin, you can sit on the bed there, and I'm gonna be asking you and Y/n some questions." A little after the questioning, Dr. Kim put on the stethoscope and tested out Jimin's breathing. 

"Alright, I want you to breathe in..." Jimin's chest rose. "Breathe out-good job. Now, I'm gonna test out your joints using this thing right here. It doesn't hurt, it's rubbery and kind of soft." 

Jimin started to breathe rapidly. He began to call out Y/n's name. 

"I don't want to use that. Please, Y/n, take me away." Jimin jumped off the bed and ran to Y/n, clinging onto her arm. Y/n chuckled. 

"Jimin, it's okay. They're just gonna test to see if your joints are healthy. You want to know if they're healthy, right?" Jimin nodded and released himself from Y/n going back to sit on the bed. 

"Now, we need to do a couple of shots so that you can do whatever you want without getting any infections." Dr. Kim said as she gathered the tools. Jimin immediately ran to Y/n whimpering once again. He engulfed her into a hug. 

"Jimin-hey, it's okay! It's okay!" Jimin shook his head moving it close to her neck. This made Taehyung stand up. 

"Nothing bad is gonna happen. She just wants to give you good medicine."

It's been a week.

Jimin and Taehyung hadn't seen Yoongi since that day. Fortunately, Seokjin was having a little picnic or cookout at his place, so this would be Jimin and Taehyung's opportunity. Y/n never told the boys until an hour before going to Seokjin's house, which made the two hybrids stressed. 

"Great, now we have to tell Yoongi hyung that we are sorry," Taehyung grumbled quietly to Jimin.  

"Do we say it together? Or separately?" Jimin asked he was mentally hoping that they would apologize together because he didn't know Yoongi well enough and thought it would become awkward because of how shy Jimin is. 

"I think we should say it together. Yoongi hyung doesn't like to have long conversations." Taehyung placed a finger on his bottom lip. Jimin nodded in agreement nervously, playing with his tail. They both flinch when they hear Y/n walk into the room, fiddling with her purse. 

"Alright, you guys ready to go?" Y/n looked at them, waiting for an answer. They both nodded, walking out the door.

"No! I'm not ready! Like, at all!" Jimin whispered loudly at Taehyung as they walked toward the front door. Before Taehyung could speak, someone opened the door. 

"Hey, guys, thank you for coming!" Jin said as he closed the door. 

"Hi, Jin, thank you for having us. My hybrids were so excited when I told them that you guys are having a cookout." She eyed the two hybrids who nervously chuckled. "Who's all here?" 

"Namjoon and Yoongi went to the store, Hoseok and Jungkook should be outside playing around, Jackson should be coming over soon and maybe some others." Y/n nodded then encouraged the two hybrids to go out and play.

Jimin saw Yoongi sitting on the couch using his phone. Jimin took hold of Taehyung, who was laughing and eating. 

"Whattt?" Taehyung pouted. Jimin pointed to Yoongi. 

"Are we gonna do it yet?" Jimin asked. Taehyung gulped and nodded. Taehyung gestured them to go to Yoongi. Yoongi noticed them in front of his phone. He sighed and put his phone down. 

"Yess?" He asked. 

The two hybrids bowed to the floor. "We are sorry for disrespecting you like that please forgive us!" Taehyung cried. 

Jimin nodded in agreement. "We will do anything for you to forgive us!" He pleaded. Yoongi furrowed his brow. 

"You guys have to be my slave until you guys go home. Then I will forgive you." Yoongi replied. Both Jimin and Taehyung looked at each other uneasily. They then both nodded. 

"...Okay, we will be your slave until we leave." Taehyung's ears flattened...his ears suddenly shot up when he heard a familiar sound. He ran past Jimin, going to the door. "Mark! Seulgi! Jackson! You're all here!" Hugged all three. 

Remembering Jimin was also present, he went back and grabbed him. "Come meet my friends!"

I know...I'm really late. It's the new year, and I was supposed to update over winterbreak, but I had family in town, and I wanted to spend my time with them. Also, my junior year has been such a hassle, so I wanna/wanted to focus on that right now. 

I currently have exams and the ACT is in 4 days, so I'll try to update again soon.
