Prologue

Third

It was a chilly night. So chilly you could see the air when you exhale. Y/n had been walking back to her car from the gas station, after buying some candy and ramen. As she was walking back, she could hear dogs barking from a distance. When suddenly, she hears some deep breathing.

Her head turned immediately trying to find where the sound came from. She threw her bags in the car locking it before walking around.

She stopped her tracks when she couldn't hear anything anymore. She thought she was going crazy. No more eating candy at night. She shook her head. She hears quiet whimpering behind the garbage. She walks over there to see a male hybrid. 

She didn't know what to do. What if the hybrid had rabies? Or some kind of disease? Her parents had her grow up thinking that anything you touch is or has diseases. Fortunately, she grew out of it.

"Hey," She said softly. The boy didn't look up. His eyes were closed tightly, stroking his fragile tail that was placed on his lap. He seemed to be shaking from fear. He was breathing pretty hard which made Y/n grow more concerned. She was about to touch the boy when he flinched away. 

"Do you need a ride somewhere?" She asked. He shook his head. Ignoring the risk of being bitten, she lifted his chin up, his face was full of injuries and tears. She gasped letting go of his chin. The dog barks became louder and more frightening. He started to shake again sniffling his nose.

"Lemme take you to the hospital." He shook his head.

"At least come to my house. It's pretty chilly out." His eyes slowly blinked out of exhaustion. She grabbed him pulling him into the car. 

Meanwhile...

The dogs could smell the rotten boy's scent. It was all over the gas station. Failing to find the hybrid, they ran back to the mansion where their master lived.

I know. Pretty short. Pretty boring. :) This was actually a true scene. Kind of.

My neighborhood was known to have lots of dogs, so one day, they were barking exceptionally loud, and I was on my driveway playing some games. I was gonna go inside when I heard mews.

I looked around but I felt a soft thing touch my calf. And it was a white kitty!!

I never kept it though...we gave him food every night and it slept at the edge of our house.

I was too small to drive him to the vet, so one day he disappeared.

I lowkey miss him.
