As I drove to the park, I remembered the times me and Olivia would spend there for hours into the night. After the accident, everything that happened seemed like a dream, like it never even happened.
When I pulled into the parking lot I noticed her standing by the swing set. She looked just as I remember her, beautiful.
I stepped out of the car and walked up to her. She was staring at me with her bright blue eyes. We locked eyes for what seemed like an eternity until finally she smiled. She smiled that smile I love so much. They way her eyes crinkled and seemed to almost close completely, the way her dimples cause little indent in her cheeks, they way her cheeks seem to turn a bright pink everytime she sees me.
She ran towards me, her arms open wide, I ran into them with complete acceptance. I couldn't believe I was holding her again.
" Hi"
I could barely hear her little voice.
" Hi" I replied.
"I miss you"
"I miss you"
We just stood there for a little while longer until the warmth of our bodies couldn't keep us warm anymore. We decided to go back to my car.
We sat there in silence until finally she said
" It was all my fault. I did it"
