"Sara, are you ready yet?", my dad called from downstairs. I take one last look at my mirror before go downstairs."Coming!"
When I reach downstairs, I got greet by sweet smell of muffins that my mom always baked for us as breakfast.
She pack the extra muffins into the paper bag and put it inside my bag. "Remember, Don't take this off", she point at my hearing aids that already plugged in my ear.
I nod. Not taking their advice much. I don't like to wear this. I don't want to hear people comments about me. And did you know that I actually can hear people who's far from me when they're gossip, I can hear using this. Which I choose to not use it as advantage.
I went outside after give my mom hug and kiss. I went inside car and play with my fingers as I nervous for first day.
Dad just got new job at this town, so we have to move house and I have to move school.
When we arrive, I saw big and tall building, the environment is so pretty. This school attended by rich people and I'm not one of them. I just happened to get scholarships from this school since I have high gred.
Before I went out, dad giving me lecture and I secretly down the volume, not giving interest to his usual lecture. After he done, I quickly put the volume up, "... and remember, Don't take this off. , he point my hearing aids.
"yes dad. I know. Bye.", I hug him and kiss his cheek, "love you!", and I went out.
The cold breeze wave at me and I rub my arm, warming me up. I walk to school, to the hallway, walking pass through the crowded. Not to mention that I got few stares from group of girls and boys.
Thankfully, my hair cover my ear, I took fast steps and find teacher staff room to take my schedule.
Usually, teacher staff room located at upstairs, so I took the stairs and went upstairs. Went I reach upstairs, I bumped into a girl and all her books fall to the ground.
