Scared and Afraid (DISCONTINUED)

The First Day

Midnight woke up moaning and slapping her alarm to turn it off. She looked up at her calendar, first day of school. "Ugh!" she said hitting her head against her wall. Her past wasn't bright, she was bullied for as long as she can remember, has been abused by her parents, and many ex boyfriends, used by every single one. Midnight got up and into the shower. She got out and was wide awake, she got dressed and did her hair. Midnight looked in her mirror, ashamed of how she looked. The few friends she has say she's beautiful. But the scars on Midnights wrist don't compliment her to well.

Midnight put her hoodie on for school and got her bag. "Ready for another miserable year?" She said to her self and got into the car looking out the window, afraid of what she knows will happen this year.

When Midnight got to school she saw Rae, her best friend, probably one of the only people she can trust, then she saw a few others unknown and new to her hazel eyes. Midnight sat down hitting her head against the metal flag pole and slitting her small wrist with the one blade she has, she had lost the others. As more people came she wiped the blood and put the blade away, not forgetting to pull up her sleeve. Tyler! Her ex boyfriend, right now Rae's. Midnight was so happy, she made up with him a few days ago. Midnight still doesn't know why she broke up with him. She was depressed and crying for a month. Midnight moved from the crowd and continued slitting her wrist with her blade until Jade came up behind her. "Whatcha doing there daughter?" Midnight quickly put up her blade and pulled up her sleeve so Jade didn't see. "Oh nothing 'mom' " midnight put on a fake smile and hugged her. Then Midnight and Jade talked until the bell rang.

When the bell rang Midnight and Rae walked to the gym together, that's where the 7th graders meet this year. When midnight got there she saw her first period was Athletics. Away from most her friends. Midnight saw two close friends, she was so happy when she saw Kai and Sharkisha. They all hugged and sat down. Midnight was a small bit excited about the day ahead of her. But more frightened knowing what things will happen on and on, deeper and deeper, in the year...
