"Princess of Angelic, I suppose you are grounded today? Prince of Chanteliotte is not here, perhaps you want someone to talk to?" Elise said, looking as obnoxious as ever.

Velvet stayed silent and sat across Elise and Alphonso's seat and then looked at Elise and said "I suppose you're so bored you force yourself to talk to someone you dislike."

Elise looked flabbergasted and looked at her brother but quickly calmed herself down and was able to scoff a bit "Come on Velvet, we all know that was an accident"

Ah, yes the typical "it was an accident" excuse Velvet thought.

"Yeah, an accident while I heard you and your gossip girls planning to do it beforehand." Velvet replied while smiling coolly.

Alphonso looked confused but the girls seemed to forget that he was with them.

"No one knows we've met since our parents didn't introduce us formally." Elise said

"So? What of it?"

Elise looked up to Velvet and gave her a grimaced look.

"Guys, is this about the Winter Ball last year? Elise, come on you didn't do it right? Father said not to do anything. We weren't given permission to attend the ball." Alphonso said, looking at his younger sister with a worried face.

The Elzenberge Empire is the coldest part of the continent, every year they arrange one of the grandest parties, the Winter Ball. Every royal is invited but it looks like the King didn't allow his children to participate. Alphonso didn't know about his sister participating without approval.

Elise didn't reply instead, she looked worried as well. Every time Elise would grimace or look worried, Velvet seems to be enjoying it.

"Does it give you the right to spill hot tea on me? No I guess not, I can talk to my father about what happened, he was curious why my dress had a stain on it, thankfully, we brought extra clothes." Velvet said "Oh I don't know what will father do. Hmm maybe cut ties with your empire? That's too much." She jokingly said

Ok, I sound immature... whatever I already said it, no undo button now...

Alphonso, who was trying to stay silent looked up and said "Would he really go that far?" Looking worried, he glanced at Elise who was looking guilty.

Of course Velvet was bluffing, King August has a strong partnership with the rest of the kings.

"What price do I have to pay for a spilled tea?" Elise said

"Oh, that's typical of you, antagonist princess to spill tea on the protagonist." Velvet teased her a bit. "But just know this, I'm not the type of person to cry over spilled tea nor stained dresses."

"Ok fine, I admit that was so immature of me. I was jealous, you're a princess of the Angelic Empire. The 4 empires were once part of Angelic Empire. The whole continent was originally from the Angelic. Until the King of Angelic decided to give four of his loyal knights a land to rule." Elise said, looking annoyed that she spilled everything.

"I didn't know you were jealous of me because of history." Velvet replied

Although she's wrong with the part 'the King of Angelic decided to give four of his loyal knights a land to rule' in truth, the King gave his sons a land to rule, this piece of information is only found in the King's diary that has been preserved for years. It seems like the books they use to study history are the ones from authors who did not know of the origins of the kingdoms due to the King's diary being lost for years.

Elise took a sip of her tea and smiled at Velvet "Oh no, not the history... the luxury."

Alphonso looked at his sister in amazement "Why though? We received everything we wanted from our family."
