Jane's POV
I slowly raised the hood and saw....no. No! It couldn't be!
"A...Alec?" I whispered.
"Jane...it's been a while." he murmured.
Felix and Demetri immediately released him, bowing.
"My apologies your highness. We didn't know that it was you." they both apologized.
Alec waved them off and they ran to tell the masters the news, leaving me and him in the garden alone.
"Alec...where have you been all these years?" I whimpered.
"Everywhere." he said, stone cold.
My heart just shattered a little more.
"Why didn't you come back?" I asked.
"I did. Aren't I here now?" he said, all emotion washed away from his voice.
I couldn't hold it back anymore.
"Please Alec! Return to the Volturi please! I need you by my side please! I'm sorry I used my power on you! I'm sorry. I'll do anything just please return!" I screamed.
He merely looked at me.
"No." he said simply.
"Please!" I cried.
He looked away and sighed.
"Fine. But you are not forgiven." he said.
Well...it was something right? Awe. Who am I kidding?!
