Killua wakes up earlier than usual and makes Gon eat his Pharadoxia pill at midnight, out of anticipation.
He regrets it greatly.
"Killua! Let's go fishing!" exclaims Gon, who is practically leaping off the walls in excitement.
Killua groans, rubbing his eyes. As much as he loves and appreciates his friend and his penchant for fishing, he needs his beauty sleep. "It's five in the morning, Gon! I want to sleep, and I want you to sleep too! Good night!"
Gon proceeds to pounce on Killua, who squirms under his weight. "I've been awake for hours! Come on, come on! Please?"
After a good five minutes of Gon's antics, Killua realizes that his efforts to get the kid to rest are futile, and his resolve crumbles. "You know what? Fine. Let's fish. Get off me first, at least..."
Gon grins widely, victorious, and swiftly crawls down to the floor. "Yes!"
Before Killua is even able to sit up, Gon takes off—probably to get his fishing gear. Killua sighs.
What an idiot...

Gon grips Killua's hand and drags him to his normal fishing spot, clutching the pair of fishing rods with his other hand. He, being the extremely overenthusiastic child that he is, tramples through the field like an elephant on a sugar high, relentlessly pulling Killua along with him. Killua has no time whatsoever to take in his surroundings, so he just watches the world blur into hues of green and brown and blue as they storm by.
"Hurry up!" Gon cries impatiently, despite the fact that he was the one dragging the other in the first place. "Oh, wait, never mind. We're here!"
He stops walking and spreads his arms in a very ringmaster-like fashion. "Ta-daaaaa!"
Killua gapes at the scene before him, mouth hanging open (though he'll deny it if anyone asks). The tree standing before them is tall, thick, and full of wildlife. Leaves greener than any emerald Killua has ever seen adorn its thick, limber branches, and lush, tall grass surrounds it, with miles of ocean following suit. Deer, butterflies and other creatures linger around the area. The mood that the tree gives off is very peaceful and serene, standing in stark contrast to Gon's overly energetic attitude.
Although the sight amazes Killua to no end, he pretends not to care. "Whatever," he scoffs, trying not to gawk at the wide-eyed little fawn that approaches him and begins nuzzling his leg. "Let's get this over with, alright?"
"Of course! But first..." Gon shoves a giant leaf onto Killua's head, piling smaller leaves he gathered from the ground on top of it. "Camouflage!"
"What the hell, Gon?! I don't need this leaf on my head! I like my head the way it is!" Killua complains. Though he understands its purpose, he was dubious about how useful it would be—they were fishing, not assassinating!
"But then the fish won't be as scared of you! You are a very scary person sometimes, you know," Gon replies sternly as he put more leaves atop his own head. He then hands Killua his spare fishing rod. "Okay, we're all set! Let's go!"
Killua watches him leap onto the tree, swinging across the branches as if they were monkey bars, the tree his own personal playground. He finally settles onto one of the thicker branches and begins baiting the hook.
Killua scowls up at Gon, who is wiggling his eyebrows at Killua from above. "How do you keep those leaves on your head? How the heck do you do that without creating leaf rain or whatever?!" he yells.
"You have to do it right, Killua!" Gon yells back, as if it explained anything.
Killua sighs and grips his fishing rod. He slowly climbs after Gon, adjusting himself every few seconds as to not to let the leaves on his head slip and flutter to the ground like the aforementioned "leaf rain".
