Hiding her face

The next day, you got up, and limped your way to the forest. You were hoping to see Sticks again today. Maybe you could talk to her again without making her seem down. You limped through the forest again. This time, you were extra careful since you were going slow. You couldn't really find her, or her burrow. But you did see a waterfall. You walked toward it, but then, under all that water...there she was. You gasped as you saw the forest badger cleaning her fur. She first looked to where you were, but luckily, you hid yourself before she saw you. You didn't know why, but you just couldn't stop watching her. A minute later, you watched as she stepped away, and shook her fur like a dog. Then she grabbed a cloth, and dried herself with it. At least she knows how to take care of herself. And that she can be clean. She was then walking to where you were. You gasped and crawled as fast as you could out of the way. She then sat down on a rock while you saw her behind some trees. She was looking down a bit. "Man...," she said softly. "As much as I don't like to clean myself, it's good to some people." You didn't really have any idea what she was talking about. But then she got up. "I wonder if that guy is gonna come to see me again?" She asked herself. "He probably got stuck in another trap." She giggled to herself. "So silly." And then, that was when you limped out. Sticks gasped and screamed! "Woah woah! It's okay!" You shouted. "It's me!" "How did you get here so fast?!" She asked. "I...I...," you started. If you told her you were there the whole time, she might find you weird. If you didnt, she would know your some alien robot, working for the government. So you said, "Coincidence." Sticks shrugged and said, "Okay." "Um...so," you started. "Wanna go hang out?" Sticks tilted her head, but said, "Sure, I guess." "Okay," you said. You limped right beside her as she started walking. When she turned to look at you, she looked away, and put her hand on her face. "Sticks? Are you okay?" You asked. "Y-Yeah. I'm fine," she said. "Let's just go." "Well okay," you said.
