The Final Binding

Chapter Three

Khalida, Empress Of Time, SAN Francisco 12:30 am

I walked through the dark streets of SAN Fran, wearing my Battle Armour, my Ancient Katana was resting on my back in its hilt, I was on a hitman contract I had to kill Billionaire Playboy, Mark Bennet, everything was going normal until, in the distance towards the Golden Gate Bridge I saw the sky open up, I didn't think anything of it I just snuck my way into the house, and did was I was supposed to, kill Mark Bennet, after the deed was done, I walked outside, then I heard the sound of helicopters going towards the bridge, I saw a women in the distance, jump up and annihilate one of the helicopters, I used my magic to create a portal to the bridge. Safely I watch the events unfold from a distance, but I saw the woman's face.

"Holy shit, she was at the Binding" I said, for the rest of the night I watch her, until she took a strange man like us to the hospital, then I thought it was time to strike... before entering the Hospital I flourished my left hand in a circular motion, and caused a magical Disruption that caused time to stop, then I entered, while everyone stood still, I often wondered what it would be like to be frozen in time, would it be noticeable, or will Time not even stop, I reached the room that the strange people were in, I circled her frozen body and started to ask myself question.

"Why are you here, were you sent here by the Binding, or did you come here to kill them" I looked at her and thought what to do, I grabbed her and ran into a portal I created, then I unfroze time, the strange girl sat on the throne in complete confusion, she struggled to get up but she couldn't because, I tied her to the chair, it took forever, but like it didn't because time was frozen, for me I guess?

"Wake up... Tell me who you are" I said, holding her head back with a blade pushed against her throat... her eyes turned purple and the blade flew out of my hand and into the wall, then she burst the binds, she used her magic to form a tiny dagger, and ran towards me, I used my magic to freeze her in time, but her conscience was still awake, I walked around her and started talking...

"I am Khalida, The Empress of Time, I was one of the three Binding leaders, I remember seeing you and that strange man at the Binding ritual, and I want to know if you are trapped here like me" I unfroze her and she fell to the ground, she started to talk as well.  

"My name is Sookie, the Herald of Marrimowne, I lead the Iballicisk Empire through the Dreadth-Marsh, and overtook the Isle of Mernown, I was invited to the Binding, by Jaoo the Black..." she said, I looked at her, and realised why the binding happened, and instantly I knew what had to be done...
