CHAPTER 2.
— MEETING HIM AGAIN —

Soobin is still confused, wondering how did he got in here. He cannot even remember what happened the day before he found himself in this house. His house with a stranger living inside it.

"I guess I have to go. By the way, may I ask?" Hoseok nodded.

"What do you call to this place?"

"Uhh... Toshi Ville... this is Toshi Ville."

Soobin chuckled. "Aishh! I live in here too. I guess I entered the wrong house. I'm really sorry for the interruption." he bowed.

"It's fine. Just don't do it again." Hoseok told him. Soobin glanced at Y/N, whose still looking at him but no longer glaring. "I'll go now." he told them. Hoseok sent him in their gate while Y/N remained standing on the door, peeking at their door to see the boys outside.

"By the way, you have a nice calendar in there." Soobin told Y/N's brother before walking away. Hoseok's nose crinkled as he stare at the boy.

"What's the difference between our calendar to theirs?" he mumbled before he entered inside.

"Hey brother..." You sat beside Hoseok on the couch and rested your hand on his lap. He just glanced at you. "What is it, my angel?"

"Can I buy something in the mini stop?" You grinned.

"What is it? And I'll come with you." He asked as he lowered down the volume of the television.

You bit your lip. "I just want to buy a napkin..."

Your brother turned off the television and stood up from the couch. "Let's go, then." he told you and reached for your arm.

"But... I want to do it alone..."

His smile on his face disappeared at the moment you have said that. He stopped for a moment before he shook his head. "You know that I cannot let you do that, right?"

You looked down at your skirt.

"I just... I just want to try it while I still have a t-time to do it." You fiddled your fingers. Hoseok's stare softened. He closed his eyes before heaving a sigh.

"You still have a lot of time, Y/N. Your brother cannot let you go outside alone because I'm scared that something bad might happen to you while I am not beside you."

"Do you understand?" You nodded.

He smiled sadly as he lightly tap your head. "Come on."

I rolled on my bed and sighed. "Aish!" I stood up from my bed and went in front of my desk. I grabbed the pen beside the books and opened the journal.

To my beloved journal,

Lately, a stranger came inside my room and claimed my room as his. And I found out that his name is Soobin. I've never seen a tall and young boy, who ages like mine, before. Since I was at the age of 14, I stopped from going to school. Since then, I stopped from seeing people, whose ages were like mine.

Well, sometimes, when my family goes out, I am able to see men but not as beautiful as Soobin.

"Gosh! I must be going crazy right now." I mumbled to myself. I closed my journal and leaned on the desk.

SECOND PERSON'S VIEW
YEAR 2019

You hit your head multiple times on the desk as the image of Soobin keeps appearing on your mind. "Maybe I'm just being an ignorant." you whispered to yourself. You wonder where he is living. But remembering the fact that he is just living in a village that is same as yours, made you smiled like a creep.

"Soobin... Soobin..." You mentioned his name multiple times, ending up thinking him over and over again.

You stared at your sliding window before an idea suddenly popped in your mind. You suddenly felt threatened at jumping outside but you suddenly remembered your brother, who strongly disagree about this idea.

"I just wanted to experience to walk on a cold night..." you mumbled as you leaned your chin on your palm that is resting on the desk.

A smile formed on your face as the cold breeze hits your face. The entire house is silent and the lights are all off, even in your room. You silently closed the sliding door before you tiptoed towards the gate.

'Goodluck.' You mumbled to yourself.

Slowly, you opened your gate without even making a creaking sound. You bit your lip as your foot successfully landed on the village's road. Again, you closed your gate silently.

You quickly ran away from your house and ran towards the mini-stop. Since morning, you were thinking about going there alone. You thought to yourself that you wanted to eat a ramen or any food that can be bought in there. Somehow, you just want to experience the life of the teenagers, who are wild and free.

Most of your life was held by your parents. It is not that you don't like them watching on you. However, you cannot avoid but to feel jealous among the other young people who has a normal life.

When you were at the age of 9, you found out that you have a problem with your heart. And the doctor assumed that you will just live for a short time. He gave you one year. He told you that it was his estimation. However, at the age of 10, you and your family went to the doctor to consult for your health. Surprisingly, the doctor gave you a good news. You relied in that hope. And you still do.

As you enter inside the mini-stop, you immediately paused when you saw the boy you were just thinking lately. Soobin is standing in front of the counter while talking to the lady who stands in there.

"Really? I didn't saw that you were building this place before." Soobin spoke. The old lady sighed. It looks like her temper is going down from where it really was.

"Son, I already told you. This was built since year 2000. This mini-stop is already old. Maybe you were just born at the time this place was rise.

"But–"

"Enough, son."

"But I was born at year 2040! Does it mean that this is already in here for 58 years?"

"Huh?" the old lady's face crumpled. "What are you talking about, son. We are still in year 2019. Aish!"

"I am not lying!"

"Soobin." You called him.

The boy you just called quickly switched his gaze to yours. And at that swift movement, you felt your heart's thump a little bit faster than normal.

"Y/N, help me with this boy. It seems like he is losing his mind."

"Losing my mind?!" he gulped.
