Chapter six

Saya and Sasuke headed for the town nearby,
Again Saya started humming and singing.
Saya broke the silence by saying
"You know Sassy, why we keep winning battles"
Sasuke shook his head after cringing just because she calls him Sassy, he plotted different ways of murdering her after hearing whats she was going to say.
"Because we are the best team ever" she cheered clapping her hands and raising it again for a high five,
Sasuke smiled inwardly, he complied and greeted her with a high five.

As they walked a question popped up inside Sasuke's head, he feel so acquainted to her now, that he needs to know more about that valerian girl, as he was thinking why he felt so easy around her, why he complied to her High five, was almost worried about her well being.
maybe after all, he considered her as a friend
He seeks an answer, and he will get it.
"Whats with the spider tattoo?"
"What a question out of the blue" Saya said
Dead silence when Saya decided to talk
"Out of curiosity " She raised an eye brow
He didn't answer
"Okay, i would like you to meet, Natsume ,Sasuke natsume, my companion in the dungeon, and my very first friend" She smiled pointing to her spider tattoo.
Sasuke raised an eyebrow.
"As a team mate, and as a friend, you deserve to know" She sighed.
Sasuke flinched at the word "friend", after all she did consider him as a friend, just like he was feeling.
Saya told him all about Natsume, their dreams, their time at the dungeon, That he was so dear to her, as he gave her an identity and a name, since
she never had a family, or parents,
Because she was taken since birth, she also mentioned how she felt when he mentioned his name because her very first friend named Sasuke.
She told him that she never lived her childhood, because she was submitted to experimentation.
That explains her childish attitude, Sasuke thought.
She also mentioned how she ran away and was blind.
  She told him about Lary, how he abused her, she seek vengeance, and her prospective that she should stop him because he will torture more and more children, that she should spare the upcoming generation from such suffering.
Act of vengeance, again reminded him of his quest for murdering his brother. He thought.

She also mentioned Hanzo, and her training, and how he realized that  her blind eye was gifted  seeing beyond what  human eyes can see, and also that her body is a shield, that deactivate any special power.
Hanzo thought its due to torture, and abuse that her body developed resistance, and can now defend itself by deactivating whatever is facing.

After such a dark back story, she should have been a bad person, but here she is, still cheerful, and childish. Sasuke thought.

"And here i am, walking with my new teammate, because we are the best team ever" she smiled.
"Then we are more alike than we thought" Sasuke retorted.
"Really... then tell me more about you" she said with enthusiasm
Sasuke was silent for a while.
He was hesitating, should he share with her his darkest past? How would she react?
Would she judge him. Despise him?
He won't blame her.
His train of thoughts was again cut when she said
"You know, sometimes you just need someone to listen, not even give you a response but only to listen and understand" she smiled.
She was right.

Sasuke decided to talk, started with telling her part , how his whole clan was massacred, how he seek vengeance from Itachi, how he tried to kill naruto, Sakura and how he was ruthless, never cared about his comrades.
Sasuke never knew why he was telling her that, maybe he wanted to tell her his story.
She was easy to talk to, she gave a comfortable vibe.
He said every bad detail about his evil acts, and was never worried about what she was going to think about him.
He just wanted to tell her.
He mentioned how Naruto helped him to see the light, and he owed naruto his life, how he loved his friend so deeply.
Saya listened, her expression didn't change throughout the story, and Sasuke felt more and more comfortable.
He didn't want to see. Pity, nor disgust, he just felt like someone should be listening, and she did it.
After finishing his dark past, sasuke looked at her.
"I don't know why i am telling you this, but i felt like i wanted to..., i never shared it with someone except Naruto" Sasuke said while looking to her with sincerity.
Saya stood up, clenched her fists and landed a punch on his face.
Sasuke's eyes were wide open, that was a shock, he didn't see that coming.
"Thats for your evil deeds, and trying to kill your comrades, and Itachi" she said.
"You know what sasuke, you are a horrible man" Saya said, with an expression that Sasuke couldn't read, a blank one, neither disgust nor pity.. but blank.
"You should know that you screwed up, and you were evil, responsible for all what you have done.
They should have slapped you repeatedly, you brat" she continued
"But... i am no place to judge you" she smiled
"As long as you knew how bad you did, trying to atone for it, and fix it, with good deeds, that all that matters, because we are only human after all"
"We fuck up, and we should try to change our bad selves to good, no matter what" She smiled.
"I am glad i met you, and glad you told me your deepest secrets" she smiled.
Sasuke was shocked with her words, no one ever faced him with how bad he did, all were kissing his ass, but the girl was honest, she said the truth, she faced him.
That all what he wanted, the truth, him being faced with how evil and horrible he was, but its still not late to change.
Not giving him excuses, but telling him that no matter how you fuck up, you can still fix it.
Because it was always part of human nature, making mistakes.
She was no hypocrite
Sasuke smiled , he felt as a burden was taken from him, and shared with someone, he somehow felt relieved.
No i am glad i met you, my new Naruto.
"So there is an important question i didn't ask." Saya said
"Hn?" He asked
"How old are you?"
"Thirty"
"Whatt! Really."
He nodded
"Now you know everything about me" he said
"Hell no not everything about you"
He raised an eye brow
"You didn't tell me about your sex life, pretty boy"
Sasuke gulped and blushed.
"Have anyone told you that you are pretty handsome, i bet you had many admirers"
Sasuke chuckled "yeah clingy types, and those who go mad and stuff" he remembered all the days of the academy.
"Ah thats pretty cute" she squeaked
"Trust me no" he retorted
"I never had admirers you know"
"Yeah because you act like a guy, though you are pretty.. well" sasuke said and then stopped "beautiful" he thought.
"hanzo raised me as a guy" she chuckled
"Then we should work on the feminine part of you" he smirked
"Ah, pervert..." she giggled
"So, tell me..you know. More" she sighed
"I am married"
"Really" she squeaked" i bet your wife is pretty lucky, the everyone's crush chose and married a girl"
"She was my number one fan"
"Great, she got what she wanted"
"And i have a daughter"
"Really,she must be pretty, and daddy's little girl"
He smiled
"I almost killed her"
She gulped
"Wait what?"
"I left them out for eleven years, that i didn't recognize her face"
"Come on sasuke, you have a family, you should cherish it, what are you doing with me in the woods anyway? You should grant each second with them, because...time is the most precious thing you could give to someone.
You will regret when all this time is wasted." She sighed remembering how she lost Natsume and there were many things they should have done together.
Sasuke understood what she said, again she was right, he lost his family, now he had one.
"You know family comes first, i wish i had one, but i have real good friends back in Valerian, they are my family" she smiled looking at the sky with a shimmering eyes
And i'll be yours, Saya. Sasuke thought.

Sasuke and Saya reached for the town, their last point, before heading to The hidden leaf.
An entity was keeping an eyes on both of them.
