Louis was doing homework, when he heard his mum knock.
"Come in" He says calmly, looking at his history homework.
"Hi Lou," His mum says and walks over to his desk.
Louis smiles.
"Hi mum. What's up?" She took a breath in.
"Can you come meet someone?" She asked with a bit of hesitantsy.
Louis looks at her for a second.
Louis shrugs.
"Sure" Was all he said.
They made it downstairs, and Louis saw an unfamiliar man.
"Louis this is John." Jay introduced.
Louis was confused, but polite nontheless.
"Nice to meet you," Louis said with a tiny smile.
"Likewise, " The man said, shaking Louis hand.
"Lets sit, Lou." Jay said, pulling Louis on the couch.
"Now, you know ive been seeinh someone lately, " And Louis nods.
"Well this is him, and we have big news.
Louis took a good look at the man. Good looking, black hair with a few grays, sharp blue eyes.
"Uh huh. And what is it?" Louis asks.
Jay took Johns hand and smiled widely.
"Im pregnant Lou!" She exclaims, clapping her hands.
Louis eyes widened.
She cant be. Shes only been dating him a month. He will replace his father.
"No," Louis said. Jays smile falters, along with Johns.
"What do you mean, boo?" Louis winces at the nickname.
"You cant have another baby. You already stuggle with money as it is, adding a baby into the mix will make it worse! " Louis yells.
"Boo... John is moving in."
Then Louis lost it.
"No! Youve only known him a month! He cant move in, what about dad? He will replace him," Louis cried.
Jay had a pained look on her face, and John noticed.
"Jay, ill talk to him, okay? Man on man time," Jay nodded and exited the room.
"Listen to me Louis. Im moving in. Your mom is having a baby, and you will not speak if that man in my household" John said sternly, towering over Louis.
"Your household? Please, I practically pay bills around here," Louis said sassily. John seemed to have a bad temper, because he was red, and was pissed.
"Listen you faggot" He sneered, "Don't speak to me that way, or else," Louis scoffed.
"Or else what?" Louis shot back.
And it happened. And it happened so quickly.
John slapped his face, sending Louis to the floor.
John kneeled to his level.
"Tell your mom, and you won't see the light of day"
Louis has tears built up in his eyes, and he only nodded.
"Ni, im scared" Louis voice quivers as he tells Niall about John.
"Lou you need to tell someone!" Niall whisper shouts.
Zayn decided to join the duo, by sitting behind them.
"Hey guys. Sup?" He asks.
Louis and Niall both turn to face Zayn.
"'M scared Zayn," Louis whispers.
Zayns face fell, "What do you mean, Love?"
Louis and Zayn have once more grown closer again, but Louis is still cautious around him.
"Mum is pregnant, and the man is..." Louis trails off whem Harry enters the bus, but he quickly turns his attention to his friends.
"Zayn, he hurts me!" Louis cried out.
His "Stepfather" Was on his back about everything, and even hit him a few times.
Zayns eyes widen.
"And no, I can't tell anyone. I just, cant" He finsishes, and was quiet for the rest of the ride.
Getting Louis to eat was a pain. Things were worse now, since Harry is gone and Louis abusive step father-ish.
"Please Lou, just a few bites," Niall pleaded.
"No" Was all Louis said. He wasn't in any mood to deal with these things.
Zayn caught Harry staring a few times, but said nothing about it.
"Fine Lou," Zayn said. But then he quickly grabbed Louis and had Niall force feed him.
And Louis screamed. The lunchroom went quiet as Louis yelled at the two.
"Leave me alone! I'm fine!" He hurriedly exited the cafeteria and sobbed in the bathroom.
In choir, Harry ignores Louis and talks to other people.
Louis has been working on the song project, and even playing the piano along with it.
He sang quietly.
"Is it too much to ask for Something great?"
He decided the song will be his life. Y'know, he wants needs something great. More like he lost it.
After singing, Niall loudly clapped and cheered.
"Still mad at you," Louis mumbles. Niall chuckles, "You can't stay mad at me forever" And yeah, he can't.
