Darkness.

That was all that surrounded Dabi...or, Touya at the moment. The male could see the familiar red locks on him. Suddenly, footsteps were heard, causing the other to look around. He was confused when he saw himself but as his current self.

"What's going on?" Touya asked but he didn't get an answer in time before he heard a familiar crying.

Shoto.

He looked around until he saw the small boy on his knees, his shoulders shuddering with every cry that left him, back turned to him. Touya cautiously went over to Shoto, going to place a hand on his shoulder.

"Shoto...?"

"Stay away from me!" He suddenly snapped, now older as he smacked Touya's hand away, glaring at the other, much to Touya's surprise and dismay.

"O-Oi. Shoto, it's...it's me. It's me, Touya," The male said, glancing back at Dabi, who remained silent as he watched the scene.

"You are not my brother."

Five words.

Five simple words and they tore through the male like a knife.

Touya froze, his stomach plummeting.  Why did that affect him so much? Was it because he still loved and cared about his little brother?

"You don't even know what love is," Dabi said to Touya, finally speaking, Shoto following after.

"You are a monster, taking away the only good thing, you'll ever have," Shoto growled as Touya's hair began to turn black and the familiar scars on his face appeared, Touya slowly turning into Dabi.

Suddenly, a blue flame engulfed Shoto and an inaudible scream left Dabi as he realized what he was doing.

No no no, why was he doing this? He wasn't supposed to be hurting him, why was he doing this?

"You're better off alone."

Dabi gasped as he awoke from the nightmare, the villain in a cold sweat despite his quirk having activated due to his fear. He quickly sat up and began to take deep breaths to calm himself, trying to keep it together. Then, a sigh left him as he ran a hand through his hair.

"Damn nightmare..."
