( so there's a time skip of two days. first day of classes was a monday and ashton takes 3 classes on monday, wednesday, and friday. he has one class on thursday. does that make sense? cause like i confused myself with schedule so this is me fixing it. so its thursday now.)

"um... hi luke?" i say in confusion. when i answered the door to my room, i expected it to be michael forgetting his keys, not luke hemmings looking ready to learn with a notebook and sharpened pencils tucked behind each ear on his neatly styled head.

"you forgot, didn't you?" he says in an expecting tone, his shoulders sagging in defeat. going off of my dumbfounded expression he nods to himself, confirming his own suspicions. "you forgot. we were supposed to work on a plan for our project today. remember, she gave out rubrics yesterday? you said to come by your dorm at 4:00? is any of this ringing a bell?"

i mentally facepalm, shaking my head at my own forgetfulness. "sorry. i totally forgot about this. i think i have the stomach flu or something. i cant keep anything down and i'm pretty sure my heads about to explode." i ramble on, opening my door wider and gesturing for him to come in. he slides past me, taking in the small room and seating himself on the end of michael's bed as i close the door behind him.

"we can just do it another day if you don't feel good? im not in a rush." he says as i sit down on my own bed across from him. "besides im pretty sure with you as my partner we'll get an a++"

i roll my eyes at the smirk on his face. "there isn't even a thing such as an "a++" you dork." i retort. " if we don't do work then what do you suppose we do?"

"wanna watch a movie?" luke suggests from where he's made himself more comfortable sprawled out on michaels bed. i nod, sliding back on my bed and pulling up netflix on my laptop. "sorry about the lack of a tv. micheal only wanted a tv to play video games on but then he got this friend that has like a "totally wicked tv and the sickest gaming system" according to michael so we sold ours and michael never stays home anymore." i explain. "breaks my heart to be honest" i fake sniffle, shaking my head.

"n'awww babe. it's okay. you've got me now and i happen to be a professional violator of all things personal. i'll never go home." He says, getting up to come sit next to me on my bed and throws an arm around me. i glare at him until he removes it, letting the pet name slide. "so what are we watching?"

"i dunno." i shrug "do you have anything in mind?" he pulls the laptop toward him and goes straight to the horror movies. when i make a noise of disapproval he just a waves a hand at me. "you'll be fine man." i grimace as he clicks on "You're Next".

"on a scale of one to ten how scary is this?" i ask nervously as luke shifts the laptop onto my lap, sliding down to place his head on the side of my thigh. "mmmm 3. just don't think about your family doing this and you'll be fine." he responds.

"great." I respond meekly as the movie starts. before the first scene loads luke looks up at me and asks for pizza. i go out in the hall to order, telling luke to start without me, not caring about missing the first scene. upon luke's request i order a half cheese half all the way pizza. after giving the guy my room number he tells me it should be here in 15 minutes.

when i lay down beside luke and a laptop is placed on my chest there's a dead girl laying in a pool of blood with the words "you're next" written in blood on the mirror behind her i internally groan. "how lovely."

luke chuckles lightly at my sarcasm. 15 minutes later when the pizza arrives i am forever grateful to every higher power there is for giving me an excuse to avoid this movie. im already anxious because there's someone in the house and they don't know it also this drake guy is an ass like "who invited you to the party?" and the whole family is arguing because of him. i feel like something bad is about to happen.
