Funshine sighed and leaned lazily against his skateboard, a bit of a pout on his face. Share and Cheer were out helping the whiffles, and Good Luck was taking a nap. The only bear to hang out with was Grumpy, not necessarily Funshine's first choice. Though, Grumpy didn't seem to be working, he appeared to be having a light chat with Dibble.

I'll catch him while he'd in a good mood, Funshine thought, skateboarding over and leaping off for a grand entrance.

"Hey guys! Whassup?"

"Hi Funshine! Me and Dibble were just admiring these rocks." Grumpy cheerfully explained, gesturing at a large patch of gravelly land around them.

Dibble trilled and held a small bit of gravel up to the sun.

"Psh, really? That's bo-" Funshine was about to say 'boring,' but paused as he remembered what happened last time he insulted a rock, "-dacious! Bodacious!" He gave a sheepish chuckle and rubbed his head.

"Uhh, anyways, you guys wanna do some skateboarding with me?" He knew that wasn't really the kind of thing Grumpy liked to do, but it was worth asking he thought. Besides, maybe Dibble would like to skateboard with him!

"No! Lookie Look!" Dibble squeaked, holding the pebble out and dancing on her two feet. When the sun hit the small rock, it shone through it like glass, and shimmered and danced inside of it as if it was hollow.

The phenomenon had Dibble very engaged, and she was eager to share this with Funshine.

"Oh- woa thats cool!" Funshine said, dropping his skateboard to get a closer look.

"Hey I have an idea!" He then said, picking up one of the rocks and then looking around. He spotted a bigger, heavier looking one and grabbed that too.

"I'm gonna see what's inside," He said, eyes twinkling in excitement as he placed the small rock on the ground and held the big one over it.

Dibble earnestly watched with stars in her eyes, while grumpy contently observed. Funshine released the big rock, and it fell and smashed onto the smaller one, cracking both rocks open, though a few stray pieces flew out.

"Hoho, awesome!" Funshine mused, stepping over to examine the rocks. After one step he suddenly leapt back in alarm, which caused him to stumble and tumble over backwards.

"Whoa-whoooah!" He exclaimed before landing on his back and laying there dizzily.

"Whoah, hey Funshine, you ok?" Grumpy called in concern, picking up dibble and coming over, avoiding the shattered pebbles.

Funshine sat up wearily and blinked in surprise.

"Oh, yeah, I'm- ow!" He suddenly leaned over and grabbed one of his feet, a pained expression on his face. He then eased up and exhaled deeply.

"My foot's just kinda sore." He said, not noticing a cut that was beginning to ooze red.

Dibble gasped in horror, and grumpy appeared moderate, although he wore his concentrated frown. "Funshine, you cut yourself," he bluntly informed, coming over to sort the issue.

"w-What?" Funshine said, going pale. He pulled up his knee so he could see his foot, and sheer panic covered his face. He was still for a moment, then started to sway a little, his eyes drooping as if he was going to lose consciousness.

"Whoah, calm down buddy it's just a cut!" Grumpy assured, sounding more annoyed than he intended.

"There's bb...b..." Funshine trailed off as he lost his voice, and he suddenly started breathing in quicker. He quickly escalated to hyperventilating, his pupils small and his paws shaky.

"Funshine.?" Grumpy called, kneeling down next to him and putting his paw on his back. "Funshine, hey, It's okay, it's okay it's just a cut, we can sort it out it's gonna be fine,"

"I'm BbLEEdinG!" Funshine cried, clinging onto Grumpy fearfully as his eyes grew big and he started to shake and whimper.

Grumpy swallowed nervously and pat his back. "Dibble, can you go get the others?"

Dibble nodded with a hmph and rolled off towards the cloudseeker.

"There there, you're gonna be okay.." Grumpy consoled, unsure of the situation.

Funshine whined a little, leaning on Grumpy as his breath came out all shaky. A few seconds later Good Luck came jogging out with Dibble, the first aid kit in his hand. He knelt down in front of the two and chuckled a little.

"What happened guys?" He asked, looking a little amused, though not in a mocking way.

"Funshine's really stressed out. Could you calm him down while i sort out the cut?" Grumpy explained, petting funshines head a bit.

"Sure thing," Good Luck said, handing Grumpy the kit before crawling over to Funshine's and sitting beside him with his paw on his back.

"What-what are you gonna do?" Funshine asked Grumpy, going tense as he spoke.

"I'm just gonna give it a clean and put a bandage on. Don't you worry about it, kiddo," Grumpy briefly replied, hoping he wasn't going to distress Funshine any further. He opened the kit and began wiping up the blood around funshines foot, to reveal the shattered shard of pebble in his foot that caused the cut. Grumpy grimaced and looked at funshine briefly, before plucking it out, hoping it didn't hurt too much.

Funshine jerked his foot back with a yelp,

"Wha-What was that!?!?" He panicked, and Good Luck gave him a pet on the back.

"Easy, bro," He assured, before looking back over at Grumpy.

Grumpy was concentrating on applying pressure to funshines foot to stop the bleeding. It didn't take long, though, as the cut wasn't too bad. Grumpy started wiping off the rest of the blood, and rinsing the cut, chiming to himself as he progressed.

Funshine kept his paws over his eyes, wincing ever now and then for fear of it hurting. Good Luck put a paw to his chin for a moment, then perked up as he had an idea.

"Hey, Funshine,"
"Mmm?" Funshine said before giving a sniffle.

"Look at me!"

Funshine removed his paws and wearily looked over at Good Luck, who immediately pulled a silly face. Funshine tittered, his cheeks going orange, and Dibble started laughing. Good Luck pulled another face then, making a silly noise to go along with it. This time Funshine started giggling, and Dibble rolled on the floor with happy squeaks.

Grumpy wore a concentrated frown as he worked, but felt a warmth as he heard them enjoying themselves. A few minutes later, grumpy straightened up and dusted his paws together. "All done."

There was a soft white bandage on funshines foot, and Grumpy had made sure to clean up any sight of blood around the ground or Funshines foot. The shard of pebble was in a small jar behind him, also washed clean.

Funshine sat up and looked at his foot, an uncertain expression on his face as he started thinking about what it might look like underneath the bandage. Good Luck suddenly placed his paw on Funshines cheek and turned him away from it, towards him again.

"Hey! Now that that's over, you guys wanna get some burritos?" He suggested.

"Oh yeah! I'm hungry," Funshine said with a grin.

"I could do with some grub," Grumpy tittered, hands on his hips in a satisfied manner. "You guys go ahead, I'm going to get rid of the broken pebbles, then i'll join you. You go too, Dibble, it's dangerous here,"

Dibble trilled and leapt onto funshines shoulder, snuggling into his cheek in excitement.

Funshine laughed and cuddled her back as he stood up. He, Dibble and Good Luck all began heading inside. Just before heading in Funshine stopped for a second,

"You guys head inside , I'll B.R.B," He said, before jogging over to Grumpy and giving him a quick hug.

"Thanks Grumpy," He said in a soft manner before heading back to the others.

Grumpy gave a soft smile as Funshine cheerfully skipped back to the others.
