I Guess Dreams Can Come True

Dinner?

KATE’S POV

I looked at the clock in my studio, THANK GOD! I couldn’t wait to get home to see Andy! I jumped up from where I was sitting at, working on a new drawing and ran over to the door, grabbing my bag that was by it.

“Bye, Stit-“ I shook my head, oh yeah!

“Stitch, let’s go! Come on!” Stitch had already laid down, she knew the routine.

“Stitch, I love you to death, but you are NOT going to make me miss another second of seeing Andy!” Woah, now I just sounded like a crazy attached girlfriend.

I grimmiced at the thought of me becoming one of those girls. I knew Stitch wouldn’t listen to me, so I walked over and scooped her up into a giant hug. I opened the door with one hand, and locked it behind me. I got to the car and set down Stitch in front of it, and opened the door, she gave me quite the look.

“Don’t you give me that. Come on, now.” She kept staring at me.

I huffed then picked her up and put her in the passenger seat with my tmnt bag, I smiled at her, and she just laid down and slept in the seat. Typical Stitch. I took off towards… well, what I can call an actually nice home now, one that I loved. I saw the… OUR… house, and pulled into the driveway, and parked it where Andy had it before. I’m still confused as to why he has the need to have more than 1 car. I picked up my bag, and opened my door, I almost forgot Stitch but she meowed, and I remembered, I picked her up too, and got out. Walking up to our house was even weird, just a new feeling I guess. As soon as I unlocked the door I noticed that the batman movie was on repeat, he must have watched it earlier, gotten up, and forgotten to turn it off. I set my bag down by the door, and walked upstairs, into our bedroom, only to see a peaceful sleeping Andy. So cute! I leaned over, just about to try to wake him up when I saw Crow get up, and started sniffing Andy’s face.

“Crow, stop. Let me be, sleep with me too.” He said, still half asleep. But of course the kitten didn’t listen, and continued sniffing Andy’s face.

”Crow, please!” Now I could tell he was starting to get a bit frustrated with Crow, but it was so adorable and funny I couldn’t help but laugh.

I guess that fully awakened him, because he lifted his head and looked at me, with his beautiful blue eyes that I couldn’t resist. Then he said something to me that I couldn’t resist even more.

“Hello, my lovely lady.” I blushed pretty hard. Anything he said or did made me blush, why? I have no clue.

“Hello, my prince.” I bent down and kissed him when he said that, now he was the one who was blushing. He looked around, then sat up.

“Sorry, I just.. fell asleep I guess. I don’t know what it is, but all I’ve done today was take a shower, then I slept the rest of the time.” He said, still a bit groggy from his nap.

“Well, you didn’t sleep for too long, you texted me like 2 hours ago.” He nodded admittedly.

“Speaking of which, where would you like to go to dinner?” I shook my head.

“I don’t mind.” “Oh, well I’ll let Chance pick, then we’ll meet him there.” He said.

“Okay, sounds like a plan to me.” I said with a small smile on my face.

“Baby, you do realize that I was just on a week vacation from tour, right? Then when the accident happened I was given more time, because I can’t really scream at the top of my lungs while I’m in a hospital bed.” He chuckled.

“Yeah, I kinda figured that, so when do you have to go back?” I asked him curiously.

“In 3 days… I’m sorry I didn’t tell you before, I was just-“ I noticed he was starting to beat himself up for not telling me, so I stopped him with a light kiss on the cheek.

“Hun, it’s alright, I’m just worried about where I’ll move to while you’re on tour, and I’ll miss you so much!” I said, then I felt myself have tears in my eyes, I didn’t want him to leave me again, I loved him too much, but I also know I’m not going to just stop his career right where it is, just because I’m greedy. He gave me a confused look, then was quite for a second.

“I don’t even know what to say to that. The fact that you thought I would really leave you, and be this calm about it. I’m never going to leave you! You’re the love of my life, it would kill me to leave you! I was only upset because I didn’t know how you would react to the news of me telling you that you may have to quit your work, but you could always travel with us! I don’t want you to do anything you’ll regret though…” He started hopeful, then ended the sentence hesitantly.

“Awe, baby! I will never leave you either! And yeah! Of course I’ll quit to be with you, anything to be with you!” Then I started blushing. I blush a lot, ugh.

“I’m so glad you said that!” He said with a huge smile creeping up on his face. He pulled me into a huge hug.

“I uh… Do you feel like there’s something between us?” He laughed, then I realized I was still holding Stitch and he was squished between us during the hug. I set Stitch down quickly to go back to the hug, and this one lasted longer. Andy pulled away from the hug first, then picked up his phone and texted someone, I’m assuming Chance about our dinner plans, then as soon as he set down his phone it chimed again.

“Let’s go.” Andy said as he looked back up at me.
