I awoke to the quiet beeping of my alarm clock, reminding of how late I usually sleep in. A streak of sunshine managed to get past my curtains and unfortunately landed right in my eyes. I pushed the thick blanket off of me and sat up, stretching my arms upwards.
I swung my legs off the side of the bed and slipped my bunny slippers on. I walked over to my closet and picked out an outfit for the day as my group had planned to go get boba tea at nearby cafe.

Not too dressy yet not too simple. I brushed my hair straight (as straight as I could get since my hair was NOT made for summer) and put on a black cap. I finally did some simple makeup, unlocked my door, and walked out.
The smell of pancakes filled my senses as I walked down the hall to our small living/dining room. I found Ziumy in the kitchen frying some of the pancake mix on the stove top. Dyon and Dohyun were situated at the dining table, supposedly playing a very serious game of uno.
I turned on the TV and streamed 'everglow - bon bon chocolat' on at medium volume. I guessed I woke up a bit late since the bags at the front door were already packed and ready to go. I was about to sit down on the couch when Ziumy called me to eat breakfast.
I sat down at the table with Ziumy and ate while watching the other two battle it out with their 'pick up two war'. A few notifications on my phone went off and I opened it to discover that the official twice account ad been spamming me for the last thirty minutes. I checked it to find encouraging words on my screen, along with reminders to practice hard and to take care of my health. I smiled and quickly sent a reply of thanks before hearing the victorious roar of Dohyun, and shortly after, the groans of an annoyed Dyon.
"I think we should get going soon", explained Ziumy as she placed our dishes in the sink. We all nodded in unison and got ready to leave. I finished the bow on my shoelaces and grabbed my shoulder bag and proceeded to head out to where the other girls were.
We finally arrived at the small cafe. The smell of coffee beans filled my nose, but we weren't hear for that. We ordered our drinks at the counter and sat down at a table near the back corner. The shop had a very pinterest inspired look to it. Like it took the small cafe aesthetic posts and mixed them all into one. There were plants hanging from the ceilings, old posters, wooden everything, and the lights made to look like old lanterns. It's exactly what I like.
The waitress brought over our teas and did her little customer service talk. We requested nothing else from her and let her walk away. The girl instantly got invested in taking photos of them, I only took one and started drinking mine.
If you look at it, five good photos out of 142 is okay I guess. I would say that it was successful.
