Chapter 12: Patience

~tick..tick..tick..tick~
You wake up.
"Huh..Where am i?" You stand up..To see that you're out of that room. "I-I'm out of this p-place?" Then you suddenly appear by the hallways. "Huh? Chiaki? Hajime?! Guys i'm out of that place! I'm Free!-"
Hajime: ...Ugh..You left? You know..It was better without you..
"W-what do you..M-mean, Hajime?"
Chiaki then turns around.
Chiaki: ...I'm sorry but..Y/n it's better if you went back...Went back...Went back ~voice fades~
"W-Went ba-back? I can't...A-After...H-him.." You take a step back.

Hajime: It's best for you Y/n...You are his ~glitched voice~ Hope after all.
"N-No...This can't be..True.."
You step back, and then fall into a black void.
"This...This..Can't be true! These are L-lies! Stop...STOP!" You cover your eyes, then you stopped falling. "It..Ended?" You move your hands from your eyes.
"I-It's over.." You sigh in relief. "Maybe..It isn't so bad after all."

???: Oh Y/n~
"!!!" You quickly turn around. And see by the shadows you see eyes, with a grey/green color to its eyes. "...N-no..S-stay away.." You then see arms extend to grab you and pull you to the shadows.
"No..Let me go!" You try to loosen the grip of the hands grabbing you.
"Let me go!" You try to pull yourself back, to escape.

???: I'll Never let you go Y/n.
You keep trying to pull yourself away from the shadows.
"..Nghh! No.." You finally collapsed on the floor, with no strength.
"No.." As you were dragged away. You saw the door. The exit, not far, but not too close. There you saw Chiaki, Hajime, Ibuki and Mikan. Looking at you all saying:
All: It's better if you stay, Y/n..
Then they all enter the door, then Hajime enters the door..pauses..and glitches. He said something different from the others.
Hajime: ...Don't lose hope Y/n..Find the door out of this nightmare.
Then he slammed the door shut.

"..Find...The..Door." You closed your eyes gathered all your strength and used all of your strength to escape the hands. You pulled harder and then..The hands lost their grip..You fell, but then got up, and ran to the door.

"It's there!" You run faster.
???: I'm sorry, but i can't ~glitched~ L_et Yo_ Go_
You quickly enter the door and slam it shut, just before the hands could get you.
"*huff* I-I'm out.." You lean yourself against the door. You exhale and keep walking. Then, the hallway kept getting darker and darker.
"What the.." You reach the end, nearly everything was pitch black.
"H-Hello?" You keep walking until you hit something. "Ow." You fall back, but someone catches you and lifts you up. "..Oh..Thank-" You glared at those grey green eyes. Your eyes widened. Then its face revealed. They said

???: I would never let you go...I'll always catch you.
"..." You keep looking at them.
"G-get..O-out.."
???: ..What, y/n? Don't you remember me? I'm Nagito your protector-
"Get out of my head!" You scream, which causes the walls to shatter.
Nagito: Y/n are you ok? He attempts to approach you.
"Stay Away!!" All the walls completely shatter. And you fall into the void once again. With one phrase whispering to you. "I'll never let you go"

"N-no-" You jerk your head up..And look around.
~tick.. tick.. tick...tick~
You look down to the table, and notice a book you were reading.
"...I-it..was just a nightmare." You lift your head to see across the table, him, staring at you.

Nagito: Poor Y/n..You had a nightmare.
He moves your hair away from your face.
Nagito: What was it about?
He slowly lifts up my head.
"...I-it..w-was..about.." You bite your lip, not wanting to tell him anything.
Nagito: If you're too scared to tell me, it's fine...Sometimes, not speaking is better. I hate noise, just the thought of it irritates me. Silence is peaceful..Full of hope. Happiness, do you get it Y/n?

You nod
Nagito: I saw you sleep, you seemed so peaceful..I wish i could sleep like that.

He kept staring at you.
