The first thing Chanhee saw after he woke up was Sangyeon who was loading stuff into the car. Jacob was lending him a hand as they both chatted about Yeoseodo.
"Chanhee hyung! You are awake!" Sunwoo exclaimed happily. Chanhee drowsily nodded while yawning. Then he noticed a pile of clothes on Sunwoo's arms.
"You are going back already?" Chanhee widened his eyes.
Sunwoo nodded. "I thought you already knew?" He tilted his head to a side.
Chanhee frowned. "Why so early?!"
"We need to catch up with the first ferry." Haknyeon answered and gave Chanhee a big smile.
Chanhee pouted, he was even more frustrated to see Juyeon and the latter did not even bother to tell him anything.
"You are leaving today?" Chanhee asked, his eyes were not looking at Juyeon who was adjusting his mafela around his neck. And the dense latter only nodded as his response.
Chanhee gritted his teeth, it was a cold morning but what was even colder was his heartㅡhe wanted to confess, he had to confess before Juyeon walked away.
"Chanhee?" Juyeon tilted his head to matching height with Chanhee. "Do you have something to tell me? You are gripping to my arm..." Juyeon's voice trailed him off as Chanhee immediately hide his hands behind him.
"Sorry about thㅡ"
"No, come here." Juyeon pulled Chanhee very close to him and he embraced Chanhee's waist, Chanhee felt the heat from Juyeon's breath on his face. They were that close. Chanhee just froze on his spot, he felt too cold to move and too warm to flinch. "Don't you have something to tell me?" Juyeon softly whispered as he caressed Chanhee's red cheeks.
Meanwhile those two were having the time to themselves, there were another types of people who enjoyed eavedropping.
"What are you doing?" Jacob glared to Eric, Hwall and Sunwoo who were hiding behind the wall and curtains. Obviously, Jacob showed no hint of anger but his voice sounded a bit creepy that it made the peers ran away in horror. "Uh kids, really love to care about adult's business." Jacob murmured while crossing his arms. "Please work it out, you two." He shook his head and glanced over Juyeon and Chanhee for the last time before entering the house.
Chanhee was aware of the eyes who were eyeing them since the beginning and perhaps that was why he hesitated. Juyeon was bold, he knew Eric, Sunwoo and Hwall were watching them yet he aggressively held Chanhee in his arms. He let go of Chanhee after a while but he made sure to look at him for the last time.
Their eye contact broke as Sangyeon hollered to them and announcing they were about to depart.
"Goodbye, Chanhee." Juyeon gave him a big fond smile then turned his back.
Chanhee was left with regret yet again.
A few months later...
"Yah! Haknyeon hyung!!" The shrill scream was from none other Kim Sunwoo. He had grease oil painted all over his face and hair which Haknyeon only could laugh to see such terrific art painted on Sunwoo's face like a canvas.
"Sunwoo, are you trying to be Van Gogh?" Haknyeon laughed.
Sunwoo glared. "I am trying! And you better pay me extra since I have to deal with all sorts of dirty things here!" Sunwoo stomped his foot while crossing his arms.
Haknyeon chuckled while he went to caress Sunwoo's hair. "I will treat you some nice food okay?" And he patted Sunwoo's head.
Well bet that was enough to shut a grumpy Sunwoo.
