Sydney went to a private school. Since little her parents wanted to give her and her sister the best education they could possibly afford, even if they had to ask her grandparents to help them with it.
Her granddad, the most important person in her life, passed away 3 years ago though, and since he was the one who helped the most, things started to get really complicated and Syd's parents started struggling with money and owing to the bank.
Her grandparents from the dad side had already passed away pretty young when they both lost their battles with cancer and her mom's mother was the only person they had left to ask for help.
In Sydney's class they all knew each other since the womb basically, but that didn't mean they'd get along as well as people would think.
She was always a very shy girl, and the other kids were pretty mean to her since she was known as the "poor kid" that wouldn't wear this type of clothes, or that kind of shoes because she couldn't afford them.
Growing up she'd walk around the halls alone and the boys would always pickup on her, but the girls were the ones who created the Facebook groups like "Sydney the hobbo" or plan pranks to do on her like the one when they changed her shampoo after swimming class for glue.
The more old they would get, the worse it was. Boys would start harassing her and try to grap her butt as she would walk past them but Sydney would never say anything to her parents because they already had too much in their mind.
