A month had past. Sydney was home after spending one more week at the hospital and she was still mentally pretty messed up because of all that happened in the past month. Her parents didn't want to force her to tell them anything since they thought she mostly had to rest but obviously something very very serious had to happen for her to try to end her life like that.

Sydney's days were empty. The only things that constantly went through her mind were the terrible images of Zack and those bastards doing what they did to her on that day. She could barely eat and she spent most of her days sleeping, but even in her worse nightmares they were. She had to tell someone or at least try to. How could she go up to her parents and tell the she had been rapped? How? But she had to, she couldn't take it anymore.
She got up from her bed, where she was unsuccessfully trying to sleep, saw if her sister was already asleep because she didn't want her to know anything, at least not yet, walked down the stairs and went talk to her parents who were watching tv in the livingroom.
"Syd? Are you okay sweetie? You couldn't sleep again right?"-Susan said with a concerned expression on her face.
"Yeah..."-she says wile trying to control her tears.
"I...I have to...to tell you..."-she continues wile hiccuping.
Sydney takes a very deep breath and starts telling everything. Her mother started crying and her dad could barely contain his tears. At this point Sydney could barely talk with all the hiccups and crying that were going in between every word but she was still trying to say everything that happened.
At the end, both Susan and Philip were speechless with the terrible thing tgeir daughter had just told them. Without having any idea of what to say they both gave her the biggest hug and reassured her that everything was going to be okay.

They all talked for the next couple of hours about what to do with her school situation and decided that the best thing to do was for Sydney to be home schooled until they found a more permanent solution.
