The term e-girl is a breed of edgy teens that comes from the culture of tik toks and the occansional tumblr. The word egirl can also translate to emo girl. These people have a distinct sense of style and "aesthetic" lifestyles and ways of living. Some egirls you might know are the ones who wear vintage clothing with a retro, modern spin on the 80s. Some might go for the cute aesthetic look or even the edgy alternative look (to not be confused with emos and grunge, e girls have cool spin that makes them very different than emos). They are very recognizable because of this aesthetic. E girl culture is skating, wearing chains, skater shirts, tennis skirts, and basically aesthetic everything. Also their sense of music taste is very distinct as most of the music egirls listen to have this nostalgic vibe with a hint of teenage adventure and it sounds better than all of your guy's pop music (all the offense).

The soft boy: fashion inspiration from the craft, the breakfast club, veronica sawyer from heathers or some edgy 80s movie. probably paints and stuffs flowers in their pockets while clairo and rex orange county plays in the background. butterfly clips. probably likes sunflowers and nature. freckles are also a part of the aesthetic. probably thrifts as a hobby. pastel colors. probably writes poems and stuff. mac demarco is playing in the background. probably has flowers stuffed in her pockets. tbh sometimes this aesthetic reminds me of the teletubbies show, don't ask why. maybe it's just nostalgic idk.
