I arrived at the small cabin Sorin and I built as kids. Our parents hadn't found it yet and it was the best we could do tonight. I knocked and heard Sorin shout "what's the scoop?" Followed by a quiet "Please be Nix, please be Nix." I smiled, remembering our childhood and said our pass code "banana spit."

The door opened imidiatly and I was pulled into a hug. We broke apart and I stepped inside. "Who's that little guy?" Sorin asked me as he spotted flapjack. "Flapjack. Gracie had puppies, and she was being neglected. Flapjack is the runt." Sorin smiled warmly "you just couldn't leave her could you?" I chuckled and best down to.pet the puppy. "Nope."

I was happy Sorin was alright with the extra company. I walked through the main of the house to the small bedroom. I put My bags inside and looked around.

It was similar to how we had left it back when we used to hang out here. The bed was made with the blue-grey sheets and blanket I had gotten. The bed was my old bed that we had gotten rid of. There was a dresser that we found for cheap, along with a small bookshelf that my our neighbor was throwing away. That pretty much filled the small room up though so we didn't try to get a desk or anything.

I pushed my bags into the corner of the room and walked back out to the rest to the house. The only other room was a small bathroom. We had one of those small portable port-a-potys, and a make shift sink situation. We could just bathe in the water outside.

Sorin and flapjack were on the small couch in the corner. And I looked around that the small kitchenette, and table with chairs. It was perfect for us, but my parents could easily track me down. I went to sit with Sorin and ask him where we were going to go.

"There's an aria in these woods, that you can only find if those whom are protecting it allow you too. I am close with some of the Fae who live there, and they said we could hide out there as long as we want or need." He explained. "As long as we respect nature and animals, all will be fine. They do ask that we help with their gardens and animals though."

I smiled exacitedly "that sounds amazing my angel." I laid my head on his shoulder. He smiled "I can't wait to spend forever with you little fawn." He said smiling at me. Flapjack jumped down and started to explore, causing me to remember to feed her. I put some of the food I had bought it into one of the small bowls we had in the kitchen and filled another with water before setting them out. "Here you go girly." I said scratching her head. Sorin walked over to me and hugged me lightly. "Lets head off to bed Mon trésor." He said.

He was born in France, and his father's family have lived there for as far back as they have been able to trace. He still visits France a few times a year for a few weeks each time.

I smile remembering when I went on their trip a few years ago. It was brilliant, he showed me all the best things, and even introduced me to his family. I can't wait to go back one day.

Sorin and I walked into the bedroom and cuddled. Having someone next to me i lulled into a sleep quickly. And had sweet tmdreams the while night.

****************
I woke up and slipped out of bed and grabbed my bag to change my cloths. I changed into a pink lavender sun dress, and packed my bag away into the corner. I grabbed my backpack and walked out inti the 'kitchen'.

I pulled out the dog food a small breakfast danish, and set them on the counter. I cut the Danish in half and filled the dog bowls. Flapjack walked out of the bedroom sleepily, and came over to me.

I knelt down and pet her for a moment, and then stood up and grabing the small coffee pot we got a few years ago. I put the last of our coffee grounds into it, and let it brew. Flapjack happily ate at the kibble and I heard Sorin shuffling out of the room.

I smiled and served the coffee and danish out for us. We dug into our food hungrily. "I have enough food to keep us fed for three or four days. After that we'll need to buy more or something. Unless were going to stay with your friends soon." I said.

Sorin laughed, "I don't know, sooner is better to be safe, but we can do whatever you want my flower." I smiled and downed the last of my coffee. "Sooner is safer. Maybe right after lunch?" I said setting my dishes to the side. Sorin nodded and went to gather his stuff from the bedroom.

"I'm going to go ahead and bathe in the pond before we go." I said loud enough for Sorin to hear. "Alright." I heard from the bedroom. I grabbed one of the towels that just so happen to be the first thing we brought for the house. Flapjacktried to follow me outside, so I grabbed his leash and tied him to a small tree near the water.

I smiled and stiped down, before diving into the pond. This wasn't just regular water, I had managed to enchant it so we woudlnt have to use soap to get clean here. I laid back, floating, letting the water clean my hair. After a few minutes I began swinging around the pond. It was about the size of a pool, and although I was clean, I love swimming.

After swimming for 10 minutes I decided it was time to get out. I climbed out and dried off as best I could. I united Flapjack leash and turned to walk inside. I suddenly became aware of someone, or something watching me.

I turned around and saw a flash of a human shaped figure before it turned and ran off. I rushed into the house with flapjack and slammed the door shut. I let flapjack run around the house some more and quickly put on my dress.

"Sorin?" I said loudly, sucking in a breath and holding it. "Nixie?" I heard from the bedroom. I sighed the breath out in relief and walked into the bedroom. Sorin was zipping his bag when I walked in.

I unzipped my suitcase and pulled out my grandmother's necklace. It was solid gold, and the actual necklace was a rose, the rose had dimond powder mixed in. It was quite beautiful, but also gave me full control of my powers, and allowed my to use then at my full potential.

I put it on my neck and imidiatly felt the power it held. I could now feel the grass grow, and the flowers bloom. I felt the water in the ground, and even the clouds in the sky. I felt all the creatures, birds, deer, snakes, down to worms, and spiders, in the woods. I reached out and felt like something was wrong. Someone bad was here, in these woods, that I always saw as safe. "Sorin something's wrong."
