Chapter 1

"Quiet on set!"

"Lights, camera."

"Action!"

And the screens blow up with my face on view.

Cheering sounds through the crowd as I walk on set to the Oprah Winfrey show. Oprah stands to greet me and I shake her hand in the process of taking a seat on a red velvet couch. "Welcome, Welcome!" She says quieting everyone down. "Victoria Delgado, how are you?" She asks.

"Never been better." I smile.

"I hear that you are finally coming out with a new 'long waited' magazine?" She announces in question.

'"Yes, our newest Magazine 'Tenacity' will be out in June, and will feature a new segment called 'Why women don't need a man'. I am very excited to gain a new audience of strong business women." I reply.

"So tell me, because like every successful story there was a beginning?" Oprah questions.

"There is." The crowd straightened in their seats, ears listening, with all eyes on me. I continued, "It started with a man. Someone who I had fallen in love with. But like every so called man, he had a different side to him. Sweet and charming, romanced me with a rose everyday, but as soon as you go broke and his ass wants more than what you can give him, that love just turns into greed and selfishness." The memory flooded my mind with flashbacks. "Don't ever let a man say that you can't do something just because your a  woman" I stared at the audience in front of me. "Because if you do, you won't be able to show him just what 'US' woman are capable of." And I looked directly at the camera. "Like I said, we will see who wins in the end."

After my showing on Oprah Winfery, articles, the tv, radio shows all spoke out loud one name. Mine, Victoria Delgado.

Its been three years since that asshole left me. Foolish. Honestly I could care less about what hes up to. Hopefully punching himself in the face. Hah! That would make my day.

"Victoria you have a meeting at 3 with him and a book signing at 5." Lilia reminded me. She is a young little thing with perfect curves, quite tempting and has a definite temper when it comes to men. Thats why I chose her as my secretary, because she doesn't take bullshit from anyone.

I am sitting in the back seat of one of my companies business cars trying to think up some new ideas and topics to assign to my staff writers. Love story? No. Big dream? No. Sex? No. What kind of guy not to date? Bingo!

Pulling out my tablet I type in my password and start typing in my ideas.

Topic: What kind of guy not to date?

Intro:
Finding Mr.Right is never an easy thing to do. You have to play the game right and finish it off nicely. If you start it.....

"Ms.Delgado?" Lilia asks.

"Yes."

"Were here."

My breathing seemed to halt for a second before I could figure out how to inhale and exhale again. Lilia opened my door and I slid out in an elegant v-neck, knee length black dress. Placing one heel out the door after the other. Here I now stand in the place I had once dreamt of calling home. Knight Enterprise. The world of cruel workaholic men. Owned by the devil himself. Matthew Knight the heart crusher.

"Victoria are you sure you want to do this? We can always reschedule." Lilia asks worry in her voice.

"Never been better."
