Embracing Love

New Assignment.

"Alright it's a wrap guys, well done." Aria spoke switching off the recording.

"Next appointment at 4, you have have 2 hours to kill and the models there would love to have a word with you." smirked her assistant taking over the post shoot errands.

Aria just raised her eyebrows and started walking away from the stuffy room.

One thing which she learned over the past 6 years was she hated to look at the screen immediately after the shoot was done. It was like a ritual to her to get out the place and return back in 20 minutes after a nice pep talk with herself.

Working in 'Grace' was a dream of every aspiring photographer when they are completing their degrees, so was hers but the road wasn't easy. She joined there at an age of 21 as an lower assistant photographer  and after 6 years of rigorous routine and hard work she was now in position of her previous mentor Sam Willson, who retires just 6 months ago.

Over a period of time she understood how the fashion, modelling industry works. And no doubt the road was filled with dramas, politics, and dirty stuff but she had been lucky to overcome this all and be at the position she is at now. She sure made lot of connections with the top players in the industry and her work was very well recognised. The one thing this journey taught her was patience and how to put up a smiling face even when insults are thrown at you subtly. Also another life lesson she learned was understanding the gestures and mind games which came along with this work.

This job was also a primary source of what her mission has been from the start and understanding the tactics were a must for her.

"Ryan's been looking for you." spoke her assistant pulling her out from her stance.

"Can you ask Lily to send my laptop and Stan to join, we'll review the pictures as well. Thanks" and walked to fulfill the post shoot work.

After 2 hours of intense discussion on the pictures they finally selected a few and scheduled the next one.

"Aria your 4pm is here."

Before she could answer, "Send Mr Sherman in here, I have to discuss this with him as well." Ryan turned to Aria, "There was something I wanted to discuss with you, new assignment."

"But we have already halfway through his project, the event is already freezed?"

"Trust me on this one, you'll be surprised what have for you and I what I can do for him. Mr Sherman welcome we were just discussing the project details. Please come in. Send Adam in to join us please."

To much of Aria's confusion and surprise the discussion went on for another hour, with the conclusion that the project will now be led her other colleague. Although she did feel relief of saving herself from ramp show will be a good break after doing so many in a row, but at the same time a small riddle creeped in what is exactly the new assignment?
