F/F - Favorite Food

"You do NOT belong here!" My dad screamed at my face, and I covered my ears. "Don't cower you little bitch!" My dad pushed me out of the house and I fell to my knees. "Good-BYE!" He slammed the door and left me to die.

I walked along the city, sobbing. I suddenly heard a meow and followed it into an alley. It was a little kitten, standing by a box! I looked at the kitten and smiled at it, and it walked up to me, purring and rubbing my leg with it's head. I smiled and held the cat, it was just like me! Abandoned and lonely..

"I will call you.. Fluffy!" I smiled and it looked like the cat smiled back. After all, the cat was SUPER fluffy. I smiled and drifted off to sleep, holing Fluffy in my arms.

I woke up, but when I opened my eyes I did not feel Fluffy. I jumped up and saw that instead, I was in an apartment-looking room. I also saw that my arms and legs were bandaged.. I heard talking in another room.
"Mirage, are you sure you can keep a child? I'm not sure if I trust you." It sounded broad and strong, but also feminine.
"Pfft, don't worry 'bout it, Bangalore! I got this!" The voice sounded upbeat and care-free, and I was sure it was a man.

I got up and stumbled over, peeking into the room. There was a woman with chocolate brown hair, and a man with dark-brown hair. I saw Fluffy nuzzling their legs and I gasped. Fluffy turned and saw me, dashing over. It jumped into my arms, and I hugged it. The guy- Mirage?- turned to look at me. "Ah, you named it!" I looked up to him and nodded ecstatically. Then the girl turned to me. "What's your name, kid?"  I thought for a moment, "MmMmmmmMmmm... Y/N!"
"Y/N and Mirage! Soon to be the dynami-"
"Uh, shut it Mirage." The girl glared at him and I looked to the side. She then looked at me. "Well, Y/N, Mirage will be taking care of you because he insisted on it.. if anything gets out of hand run to the hallway and call for Lifeline, Bloodhound, or Pathfinder." I nodded okay. "Well, I'm going to head out to the next battle. See you later, Mirage." Then the girl walked out of the room.

Mirage smiled and beamed, "Okay, follow me!" He jumped onto the couch and looked at his TV. "I don't know if you watched any TV, but personally," he put his hand out, "The Office is my favorite show!" I raised a brow. "The Office? Like work? Borrringgg..." Mirage laughed a bit. "Except it's not! It's super funny. C'mon, just watch an episode, pleeeaassee?" I then giggled and nodded.

~After binge watching many episodes of The Office~

Y/N, Mirage, and the others of Apex were having a nice dinner at a restaurant. I was sipping my lemonade and then I spilt it on me. "Ahh, shit.."

The whole group turned to me, except Mirage who looked like he wanted to laugh. "Where did you learn that from..?" Bloodhound looked at me. "Oh, shit? Mirage! We watched The Office, it was super funny!" Now Wraith was trying not to laugh. I nommed on the F/F I got and smiled. "I know a lot of others- fuck, shit, bitch... I don't really know what they even mean!" Then all at once, everyone started laughing. "Mirage- really?" Lifeline looked at him with a smile. "I mean- we are besties already! Right?" Mirage looked at me with a wink and I finger gunned. Everybody started laughing once again.
