"That's gay!" Someone said in an insulting tone to Hyunjin and Seungmin.

Lots of people would have found that pretty offensive and insulting and it is. But, Hyunjin and Seungmin didn't care. Why? Because what they were doing was pretty gay. They're not dating or anything, they're just two gay friends that do gay things together. Actually, Hyunjin is bisexual, but that's still a branch off homosexual so he counts as gay.

So, why did that someone call them out for being gay? Well, they were walking down the corridor, Hyunjin's hand around Seungmin's waist and Seungmin's hand in Hyunjin's back pocket.

That's...pretty gay.

Anyone would've mistaken them for a couple.

The two turned their heads to face the person that called them gay, Seungmin spoke first. "Yeah, that's pretty gay, we're pretty gay, we are gay. You got a problem with that?"

The person didn't reply. If he said yes, he'd get called a homophobic bitch. If he said no...

"No-"

"Good, then shut up."

This would happen.

This was just a unique way that Hyunjin and Seungmin showed affection to each other, that was partly why they act this way. They also act this way because it's a habit. A habit of acting gay towards your friend, yup.

They only friend they had was each other and not only that, they were best friends.

The bell went and the two went their separate ways to each of their classes.

Seungmin walked into science lab 6, where he has his science class and sat down at a lab bench.

He felt something light hit the back of his head before falling on to the desk in front of him.

I literally just sat down, which bitch needs a punch in the face already? He thought.

It was a crumpled piece of paper. He smoothed out the piece of paper, it read: What a gay whore.

He wasn't angry, just disappointed. It's been half a year since the 3rd year of high school has started, yet people are still so immature.

Hyunjin and Seungmin were used to this, they get teased and insulted mostly because of their sexuality but also because they're the 'confident gays'. Some students also came out as gay or other sexualities that are not heterosexual, but they don't get teased like Hyunjin and Seungmin do. Why? Because they're not 'confident', they don't 'show their gay' at school or in public like Hyunjin and Seungmin does.

Seungmin grabbed a pen out of his pencil case, he scribbled something on the crinkled piece of paper before scrunching it back up and threw it behind him, not even looking at where he threw it.

One of the culprits picked it up and showed the other culprits.

They unravelled the piece of paper revealing the message seungmin wrote:

Yes, I'm gay, I'm homosexual. Since you're assuming I'm a whore, I guess I'm allowed to assume you're a whore too.

The group of culprits were slowly burning a hole into the back of Seungmin's head. But, Seungmin can't feel it, he doesn't care about those whores and is not paying attention to them.

The teacher walked in and calmed the class.

They were handed a new assignment that was to be completed in groups of two. Everyone found their own partner except for Seungmin and Jaeyong - the shy kid of the class. Of course, no one wanted to partner up with the confident gay or the shy kid. So, by default, the two were paired up.

Jaeyong grabbed his bag and his books, migrating to the lab bench Seungmin was sitting at.

Seungmin had never talked to the boy, even in class they never had any interactions until now.

As they were researching and writing, Seungmin couldn't help but take a peek at the boy every now and then. He's cute. He thought.

Jaeyong had some very distinct features and a sharp jawline. He was only shorter than Seungmin by a centimetre or two.

"Is there a problem?" Jaeyong asked, catching Seungmin off guard. "Hm? No. You look really nice today by the way."

"Thanks," Jaeyong smiled and continued with the research, not even expecting a thing.

It was lunchtime, Seungmin sat at their usual lunch table waiting for Hyunjin to come.

After a couple of minutes, Hyunjin was seen skipping happily towards the lunch table.

"Woah, calm down. What's the hype?" Seungmin asked as he continued to munch on his salad, Hyunjin plopping himself beside him and threw his arm around the back of Seungmin's neck.

"I actually had the courage to talk to Jeongin." Seungmin rolled his eyes, "finally, took you long enough. Did you ask for his number?"

Hyunjin sat there, spacing out, contemplating about something, before letting out a soft, "no..."

"You dingus-head," seungmin said as he lightly slapped the back of Hyunjin's head, "how are you supposed to marry Jeongin at this rate."

Seungmin face-palmed at his friend's stupidity, "you better get his number in the next three days, otherwise, you're sleeping on the floor next time you come over."

"Are you threatening me?"

"Maybe."

"Okay, fine. Just watch me, I'm gonna prove you wrong."

Hyunjin had been crushing on Jeongin since Jeongin started his 1st year in high school, Hyunjin and Seungmin were in their 2nd year. As the older of the two, Hyunjin tried to act cool in front of Jeongin. He didn't want Jeongin to think he was a 'weird hyung'.

Seungmin, on the other hand, hasn't dated or even crushed on anyone since 3rd year of middle school.

He just felt somewhat numb, or emotionless due to the criticism for being homosexual. Of course, he acted strongly in front of everyone and in public, he was very open about his sexuality, but every insult, every objection, the teasing too, made a scar. He just felt numb when it came to love.

He didn't have depression, but he knew it would happen to him sooner or later, he could feel it sprouting inside of him

He was zoning out, munching on his salad. But, all of a sudden, out of the blue, Hyunjin pulled him into a side-hug and gave his friend a peck on the cheek. Seungmin smiled softly and gave a peck on Hyunjin's cheek in return.

Gay.

But, that's what they are.

okok so this is an lgbtq fic between an idol and a made up mc. I'm just trying something new and idk, this is my normal writing style so please bear with me.

This may seem like a Seungjin fic but I assure you, it's not.
