Double-A || Kim Seungmin

Two

Seungmin and Jaeyong were at a public library, continuing to work on their science assignment.

Now that Seungmin had some interactions with Jaeyong, he had found interest in the boy. Seungmin wanted to be his friend and he hoped Jaeyong does too.

They were about to leave the library when Seungmin spoke up, "hey, um, Jaeyong?" he was fumbling through his bag, trying to find his phone, "can I get your number?"

"Of course!" Seungmin handed Jaeyong his phone, letting Jaeyong to punch in his number.

"Here you go," Jaeyong said, handing back Seungmin his phone. "Thank you," Seungmin had a rather genuine and big smile on his face.

The two walked to the nearby bus stop and parted ways when Seungmin's bus had arrived.

Seungmin sat at the back of the bus like always and inserted his earphones that were connected to his phone. He liked to listen to calming music on the bus. He liked pop, rock and the fast-paced music, but he much prefers the calming ballads, slow-paced songs and classical music. It just clears his mind from stressful times and negativity.

Then, his phone buzzed from a notification. He looked at his screen, it was a message from Hyunjin.

<(Do you want to come over for dinner and a sleepover tonight)
<(We've made your favourites japchae and kimchi stew)
<(and I have tea to spill 😏)

Just the thought of tea spilling was very tempting, but he still had homework other than the science assignment to do. Nevertheless, he gave in. The thought of tea spilling was just too tempting.

He checked the time, it was already quarter-past five.

Sure, he still has homework to do, but he thought he could just bring it with him to Hyunjin's. He'll be less productive at Hyunjin's but at least he'll get the tea.

He then proceeded to send a message to his mother.

Mum <3

(I'll be going to Jinnie's tonight)>
(And yes, I'm bringing my homework with me)>

Mum <3
<(Make sure you actually do some of it)
<(Are you coming home first?)

(Yes)>

Mum <3
<(Okay)

Seungmin looked away from his screen for a moment to see whether he was close to his stop yet, making sure he didn't miss his stop.

There was one more stop before his, so he stuffed his phone away in his pocket, ready to get off. 

As soon as he hopped off the bus, he wasted no time and ran home. He wanted to get to Hyunjin's place as soon as possible, not wasting any valuable tea-spilling time.

"I'm home!" Seungmin yelled as he bursted through the door and ran upstairs to his room.

"Are you having dinner at home or at Hyunjin's?" His mother yelled back at him from the kitchen on the first floor. "Hyunjin's!"
