Summer's POV
Oh hell nah I'm not finna get bounced today. I thought. "Hi"they both say nicely in sync. Maybe they won't bounce me. "Uh.. hi" I say shyly. "I think you're the girl Prince was going to introduce us to" "Oh so you know my good friend Prince" "Of course" the girl with very curly hair says "doesn't everyone" the girl with the straight hair says. "What are ya'll names" I ask. "Oh my name is Asia" the girl with straight hair says. "And I'm Airi"the girl that has pretty curly hair says. "Oh nice names, my name is Summer" "We know Prince wouldn't shut up talking about you" Asia chuckled. I blushed a little.
We head out to the girls gym. When we made it our coach told us the boys will be joining us shortly, so that exciting I get to hangout Michael I thought.
When the boys came Jordan and his friend group was laughing and when I saw Michael he didn't have his gym attire and his shoes and looked so sad and disappointed. "I'll be right back" I told Asia and Airi, they nod their heads. I ran to where Michael was and called his name as he was about to sit n the bleachers. "Michael!" He had his head in his hands.
I sat by him and rubbed his back. "Michael, what happened" he looked up with read puffy eyes I can tell he's been crying his heart out. "Jordan is what happened. He said below a whisper. "What did he do cuz if you tell me he stole your gym clothes and especially your shoes I'm going to have a little talk with him" "Summer, no I don't want you to be brought into this if he does anything to you I'm gonna kill him"
"So you rather him bully you than for me to help you" "If you talk to him I don't want any violence now if I see him touch you in any way he definitely won't be bullying me no more" I smiled and wiped his tear stained face. " good thing Prince gave me his gym shoes 'by accident'." I winked at him. "We aren't the same shoe size, they would be extra tight"he says and I giggle and say "No they were too big for him that's why he gave me them they are my size but just a little bigger" he nods his head and smile. That soon changed into a frown. "What's wrong" "I still don't have the gym attire" that's ok it my first day so I can sit and watch with you" he smiles, God I love his smile. "That would be great" Michael and I got to know each other a little bit more, he's actually a sweet and funny guy.
After gym I went to my locker and found Prince already there waiting for me with Asia and Airi.
"Hey SumSum!" I chuckle at the nickname Prince use to call me in elementary school all the time. "Hey Princey, whats good Asia and Airi" "I see you meant my friends" "Yep we have gym together"
They nod their heads. We headed to lunch as I was walking in I saw Michael sitting all alone. I told Prince and the girls "You guys should come sit with me and Michael" "Ok" the girls say but Prince was hesitant. "Alright" he says. I sit next to Michael. He looked up at Prince and the girls and looked back down at his lunch tray.I forgot Michael is shy. "Hey Mike, these are my friends Asia, Airi, and Prince." He looked back up and Airi and Asia smiled and waved while Prince stood there with a nonchalant look on his face. Michael gave a weak smile to Airi and Asia. "Hey I'm gonna get my lunch" I told Michael and he nodded. As I was walking to the lunch line people would pass by me mumbling rude things about me hanging out with Michael, but I didn't give a fuck.
I made it back to the lunch table and Michael was gone! I looked at Prince, Asia, and Airi. "Where is Michael?" They all shrugged. "When I sat here waiting for you guys he ran out into the hallway" Prince explained.
I don't know what it is but I think Prince and Michael just don't get along, why would Michael get up and run out of the cafeteria when Prince had sat down......
