The next morning I wake up and start getting ready to meet with Toyomitsu and Kirishima for work. We're supposed to be patrolling the city all day because of the escalating crime rate. It really is just getting worse and worse here everyday. I hope they officially announce the new hero rankings, that may help the situation.

Though even with all this going on I wish I could meet up with Mirio today. I want to see him even if it's just for a second.

Once I'm done getting ready I check my cell phone before I leave and see that Mirio texted me.

"Hey can we meet up sometime soon I want to talk about last night."

My thumbs hover over the keyboard while I think on what to type. I don't want to sound too excited to see him it may come off weirdly.

Honestly I never liked using my phone so I only really check it before I leave my room and sometimes before I go to bed. I really have no one else to talk to except for Mirio... he's the only one other than my family who has my number that I regularly text, meaning at least more than one conversation every two weeks. Though we don't usually text much it's really just better for us to be together in person.

"Sure." I simply answer.

I don't know what else I can type I'm honestly nervous about his reaction.

After that I put my phone on my desk then leave.

While walking around Kirishima and I are together for patrolling, with Toyomitsu close in front of us with his usual team.

"So how was yesterday with Togata?" Kirishima asks.

"Well..." I say trailing off but then start telling him the events that stood out the most.

After I finish explaining he says, "Okay so that means next time don't shut the door on him."

"I know I shouldn't have done that... I-I was scared."

"I get that man, it's hard trying to confess to the person you like."

"Well I'm not even sure doing that is even called a confession."

"I'm considering it a confession. Not everyone can just kiss their best friend out of the blue after such an obvious date."

"Wait so you think..."

"What you two were doing was by technicality a date that couples do."

I blush at that statement. Well I was thinking of actually going on a date like that with him and honestly I wanted to ask him out before we went to eat so it would go that way if it went well.

"Well Mirio did want to talk to me about last night soon..."

"Well man, I hope for the best but whatever happens know I support your decision." Kirishima smiles.

"Thank-"

I'm cut off by a loud explosion and instantly after five people emerge from the smoke carrying large duffel bags. It's obvious what they're objective is and our group instantly goes into action to catch them.

While trying to catch all five of them one was able to separate from the main group.

Toyomitsu yells out, "Suneater! Red Riot! Go get that one! We got the others!"

After that Kirishima and I follow the burglar. Turning the corner we are able to corner them with a dead end alleyway.

As we stand face to face with them Kirishima gets my attention when he yells, "Denki?! What are you doing here? Get away from that guy he's dangerous!"
