Chapter 3 ; A rough start

Inside the house I noticed the spectacular designed furniture set and tables to match. The couches were a wonderful shade of turquoise,

What's up with all the blue?

I giggled to myself.

Sam and I,  spike following, made it to "my room"

Wow I was not used to this.

The room was quite plain but sam added quickly that she wanted me to decorate it the way I wanted, she wanted the room to represent "who I really am."

I smiled widely at the thought of me being able to make my own choices,  but I was also scared because I've always had someone make them for me,  I've never had my own voice.

I placed my things down gently on my full sized bed and followed Sam out so she could show me the rest of the house.

"This here is the family room, " every Friday night me,  Jim , and the kids have a movie night, kids choice of course." She smiled

Wow , family.

Such a foreign word to me. But still, the word made my heart a little warmer.

Eventually I was left in my room to think , Sam warned that we'd be going to the mall soon to get clothes. For me. I figured.

Looking around the room I got glimpses of my previous home but quickly pushed the thought out as soon as I felt my eyes begin to water.

Forcing myself to get out of bed, I started walking towards the bathroom, only to be given looks of disgust by Jazmyn.
Okay,this is going to be fun.

"Hey-" I started.

"Just stop. You and I, we will never be friends nor sisters. Just stay out of my way."
Shit. Do I say something back?

But all that seemed to escape my lips was a simple and quiet-

"Okay."
This is going to be great.

A few moments later Sam came to tell us that we'd be leaving soon and told me in the meantime, to borrow an outfit from Jazmyn.
Great. Fucking great.
