Months after the incident happened the girls were going to get changed in the school changing rooms as they had just had p.e. They pack their things, brush their hair and are about to leave. When suddenly there was a loud creak coming from the door, almost as if it was opening. The girls were frightened. "Hello" said Luna with a shaky voice, "Is anybody there?" There was no reply . The girls built up the courage to go up to the door and were shocked and filled with horror when they saw a note on the ground labelled 'READ ME' in all red letters. Linda's hands were shaking as she bent down to reach for the note.
The girls read it. ' I know what you did last summer' 'you will pay'. Luna dropped the note in shock, she had never felt so scared before in her life. The girls were all trembling, fearing their lives. "Do you think they mean Mike?" Asked Mia with her voice shaking. The girls looked at each other almost as to confirm they all knew exacly what the note meant. They looked at each other again hoping one of them would say something. None of them did. They stood in silence for almost 5 minutes before Luna finally got the courage and said "guys I'm sorry this is all my fault,I'll take all the blame". Mia and Cathy looked at her and started to reassure her that she wasn't going to be alone and that they were all in this together. The girls debated for a while on what to do and then came to the conclusion that they should try to hide all evidence that would link them to the murder. They had to make sure that everything was burned, so they did. They made sure to clean Cathy's car multiple times to make sure there weren't any traces of blood or DNA. They made sure to burn all the clothes they were wearing that night. And they then went back to Luna's house to clean the spot where his body had been. Everything was thought through and they were sure they were safe.

Are the girls really safe?
Who wrote the note?
How do you think they knew about the murder?
