Purple Rain

         That was a rainy day. Adhiti came back from her college by bus. She was sitting in the window seat. Mild breeze gives her chills. Her hair was kissed by the wind. Many thoughts were running in her mind. She wants to share a moment like this with her man. By the way, she is single her whole life.

         She has a pure and innocent soul. She loves and respects her parents more than anything in this world. She peacefully lived with her parents and grandparents. After some years, she lost both her grandparent due to age sickness. She loved her grandfather more than anyone. She still couldn't accept the fact that he is no more. No one can never ever replace him.

          Though she is an introvert, she is an extrovert to the people who know her well. She adores living in her own world. And have a thrust for learning new things. She loves art and music. She's a great listener and gets hurt so easily.

           There are only 3 things that mattered in her life. God, Parents, and her friends. She would do anything for their happiness.

             God is the first and foremost, friend with whom she can talk about her happiness and sadness for hours without hiding anything.

              Next comes her parents as she is a single child for them. They poured all the love in this world for her. Despite being a Middle-class Indian family. They gave her all they can. Food, shelter, good education, and what not?

              As she is an introvert she hardly has 5 friends in the 23 years of her existence. With each of them, she has different comfort zones.

              Nisha is her friend for life. They successfully completed 11 years of friendship. She is a human diary of Adhiti. Adhi updates all the incidents in her life, her feelings, and thoughts with Nisha without hesitation. Nisha too hears all her shits without judging her.

              They both studied at the same high school. Initially, they were like cats and rat and when they get to know about each other they became best friends for life. They separated for their higher studies but didn't let the distance break their friendship.

            Nisha did her bachelor's degree in Mathematics while Adhiti did in English. They fight, insult, laugh, rant, and talk about two different topics in two different apps yet they have many more left to talk about.

           Nisha and Adhi share a very less common interest. Yet they have a strong bond. You know the opposite pole attracts each other. This appeals to friendship too not only love. (Winks) They live in the same town but rarely hangout. Adhi address Nisha as Panda 🐼 as she is as lazy as a panda. 

              Taara is also Adhiti's high school friend. Taara is a whole different energetic and inspiring personality Adhiti ever met in her life. She leaves a positive vibe around her. And helps the people grow along with her. She doesn't care about others' opinions and lives her life the way she wants. She only fears to god. She is an outstanding storyteller and Adhiti's music buddy. Taara unlocks a new world for Adhi whenever they meet. She left the town for her higher study after high school. She did her bachelor's degree in psychology.

              Here comes Alia, Meghana, and Sana who were Adhiti's college friends. The four of them were very popular in their college for their unbreakable friendship. Everybody envies them. They sat on the same bench during the course of their years of college life.

            Alia and Adhiti were bit more close whereas Meghana and Sana. Adhi, Meghana, and Alia share more common interests like drawing, singing, dancing, making crafts, fashion sense, etc.

              Alia and Meghana were sisters. Sana was always a good listener. Though clashes arrived their bond only grew stronger as they know the value of each other. The extrovert in Adhi comes out only if she is with her girl gang. They named their gang as 'PGG'. They enjoyed their final life year life to the core. Went to attend many inter-college meets won several prizes and created so many memories to think about and cherish forever.

             Adhiti ain't have all the fun she had if it's not Meghana and Alia. Adhiti's father is a bit strict he won't allow her to go out of town without his or her mother's presence. And won't let her stay anyone's house except their relative. 

             But let Adhiti go with her PGG as he trusts them like her own daughter. Adhiti, Alia, and Meghana went to a theme park twice. That's still a cloud nine moment for Adhi when her father agreed to let her go with them. Even after graduation. Their friendship still growing more.

             After completing a bachelor's degree. They parted their ways for higher study.

              Adhiti and Nisha did a bachelor's degree in education in different institutions. Taara did her masters in psychology. Alia did her masters in English, Meghana pursues her dream of becoming a makeup artist and Sana took up a job to support her family.

              Everything was going well, as life is a roller coaster ride. It gives surprises all day. An unexpected storm came across in Adhiti's life.

               Her dad's business went down. They have left no choice than to sell the house they were living in. After a great struggle, they finally sold their house. Both Adhiti and parents have grief buried in their hearts for selling their house. But they never showed it to each other.
       
              Adhiti has a desire to complete her Phd in English. She asked for her parent's permission to study M.A in a reputed college. But everyone around her suggested getting married soon. Her parent's health condition was not so good.

             They also find it right to get her married and felt that's the best for their daughter. As she respects her parents and their decisions. She agreed to get married. Her parents started to look for a groom...
